Family run traditional Lakeland Inn with 8 en suite bedrooms and family rooms some with a lake view. 5 real ales, premium lagers, wines, spirits and a great cocktail menu with great homecooked traditional pub food available in our bar or dining room!! Located right between Bowness and Windermere only a couple minutes walk from each with a 5 minute walk from the lake or fells.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 2 night stay. The room was clean and tidy, slightly dated but very reasonably priced. The man in the bar was fantastic, very friendly and nothing was too much bother

Dined here with family on the 1st November. Our server’s service was excellent and the choice and quality of food was again excellent. The dining area is downstairs which isn’t obvious at first so it’s quite easy to overlook a hidden gem

As you are coming in to Bowness towards the lake the Inn is on your right hand side. I parked over night on a side street on the left which was a 30 second walk from the accommodation. Free and broke no bylaws! I even knocked on a door to ask if the owner minded my car being there overnight and they were fine with it. Hope this helps.
