Situated within the town of Bowness, The Old Court House B&B is ideally located for shops, restaurants and the waterfront. It was an excellent base for our 3 day visit exploring the Lake district. We were warmly welcomed by Sue, the manager, who also helpfully explained where was best to eat in Bowness. Her recommendations were spot on. Our room...

We stayed here for a weekend away while our parents looked after our son. We had a lovely stay. The B&B was clean and the rooms cosy, exactly what I would expect for the price. We left very happy that we got very good value for money. Breakfast was very good. Cinema next door which we made the most of!...

The Old Courthouse B&B was wonderful, no more tha a five minute walk down yo the waterfront, stayed in a twin room, which was great, room was "spotless" and had a great nights sleep. Sue was wonderful, and extremely helpful. Breakfast choices where four different cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, and fresh fruit juices, tea coffee toast and a full English...

The Old Court House is just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town. The rooms are generously sized and spotless. The owners are really nice and friendly. Cooked breakfasts are a decent size and very tasty and theres a delicious fresh fruit salad and cereals. Top marks!!

It took a while to find the house as none of the buildings on Lake Road are numbered. Its adjacent...

We booked to stay at this B&B in August; unfortunately, there was a mistake with the booking and they had overbooked, which was only realised upon arrival, meaning we had to quickly find somewhere else to stay for our 3 night visit. HOWEVER, this was compensated for by being offered a 2 night complimentary stay! The B&B is situated in...

Very good location, nice and quiet but close enough to everything for a nice walk out. We were arriving later than usual check in so was asked to ring on arrival and within a short time we were in our room, the judges chambers. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our room looked over the road and due to the traditional...

The Old Court House is a fantastic B&B in the heart of Bowness, just five minutes from all the restaurants and pubs. The owner is lovely and so friendly, and recommended lots of things to do. The room was perfect and so cosy, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've been in away from home! The breakfast was...
