We went for day access to spa followed by afternoon tea. The afternoon tea with bubbly was fantastic with great service. They catered for gluten free offering one of best options we have seen. Surroundings where it was served was grand and beautiful, would recommend! Spa was ok, pool area could have done with a clean; pool edge was dirty...

Good location and some rooms have lovely views of the lake. Staff are friendly, rooms clean and have everything needed! Breakfast was lovely, although don't get very much on the full English but can help yourself to cereals, juices and lots of hot drinks. Would recommend for a traditional English hotel

Excellent break from start to finish. Free room upgrade for our anniversary was a lovely surprise. Very luxurious throughout. Perfect location and first class service throughout our stay. Pity about the rain.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great fish and chips last night in the restaurant. Room is large and well equipped. We had an executive balcony room. We booked 4 nights on special offer in January. I am sure this was to encourage travellers back after the recent flooding. Some places still closed, cleaning up. Sad to see the devastation left...

Lovely hotel right on the lake. Good views, food and hospitality. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble when we asked. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. I am looking forward to visiting again.

The hotel was perfect for us. I am in a wheel chair and our room was ideal. I came to a charity dinner with three friends we had a wonderful time, the meal was lovely and breakfast very nice, overlooking the lake. I love this hotel, it was so good for me and my friends. Thank you

Used the pool as a guest from a nearby five star hotel ( no pool though) . Really disappointed, pool was cold but changing facilities appalling. The spa was busy but no one was checking the changing rooms. Only one cubicle, queues for the 3 showers, dirty towels & robes all over the floor.....expect more from this four star hotel,...
