Lovely room, fantastic food, polite and helpful staff who can't do enough for you. I really enjoyed my group break here. I would definitely come back here again, and would recommend this as a place to stay in Bowness.

Took up an offer for a reduced rate for B&B and it was excellent value. Room was suited for a disabled person, but using a foldable wheelchair was not easy in the narrow corridors. There was a step down to the dining area, so we dined at the higher level for an evening meal [and

Thank you for your kind review and we have taken your comments into consideration. These country houses do tend to have narrower corridors but they are part of The Ryebeck's old charm. We have a portable ramp for wheelchairs so you are more than welcome to dine in the main section of our Terrace Restaurant on your future visits. We look forward to your return soon. Kind regards, The Ryebeck Team

We have just returned from a short overnight stay in Bowness. We have stayed at the Ryebeck before (Feb 2017) and always remember the trip fondly so when we had a free weekend to come away we decided to revisit Bowness and stay at the Ryebeck. We stayed in a Grand room and it

Stayed in a superb room for the night complete with Jacuzzi bath. Very informal feel to the hotel which adds to the ambience as I personally dislike stuffyness and snobbery when staying in a quality hotel. Helena strives to make the experience a good one and excells at this.

I'm afraid not - pets are not allowed in areas where food is served.

Any of the Grand rooms in the hotel would be perfect.

Does the Hotel have Wifi in the bedrooms?
Afternoon iocasti, Thank you for your query. As the majority of our guests are here on a leisure break we do not have wi-fi in guest rooms. This service is available within the public areas. Due in part to our location and the infra-structure within the Lakes, broadband speeds are not as quick as in some more populated areas of the country. Come to the Lakes, enjoy the countryside and get away from the drain of modern-life and technology for a while... Hopefully this information is of help, but please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Regards Duncan
