I stayed here for one night (on the day after the bank holiday) and was impressed by the quality of rooms and the hospitality provided. Some of the good points - The rooms are very clean and modern, with comfortable beds and good quality amenities (see pictures) - Breakfast is the best I had and the tables were set for...

A 1 night stay at the end of our Dales Way walk. We were greeted by the owner with 2 bottles of beer as a celebration of the completion of our Dales Way walk and we were told that there was no charge! This epitomised the service ethic of the owners which was demonstrated again at breakfast the next morning....

Just returned from Lingwood Lodge after a 3rd visit to this warm and cosy establishment. Marvellous place, only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Bowness, less to the lake. Car parking is available to all guests. The rooms are very modern and equipped with really comfy beds, free wi fi and flat screen TV. Dvd's are also available...

Stayed here in the Easter holidays with my husband and 3 year old daughter. An excellent B and B! Room for three was excellent, good size, spotless, TV/DVD and super selection or tea/coffee/hot choc/biscuits etc. The DVD library had something to suit most tastes and is very useful when you are travelling with little ones, watching 'Miss Potter' whilst in...

Th hotel is located just a few minutes walk from lake Windermere in the Lake District, the lodge itself is a lovely family run business with just a few rooms. The decor was nice and clean with modern and new looking furnishings. There was even a DVD library that anyone could just borrow a DVD from. It is also in...

Booked a single night for a birthday celebration. Was greeted by the owner who was the kind of person you feel immediately at ease with. The whole place was spotless and clearly well looked after. The room was very pleasant and with the windows open it was still peaceful. The bed was possibly the most comfortable one I've ever slept...

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The B&B was absolutely spotless! The breakfasts kept us well fed right through to dinnertime. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a quick walk into Bowness town where there were plenty of shops to nip in. There are also plenty of different places to eat/drink and lots...

We visited Lingwood Lodge for the 3rd time in the last week of November 2012. It's a nice time to visit Bowness, as it's a little bit quieter than through the summer months. We were very lucky with the weather, crisp, cold but lovely and sunny for the whole of our stay. We enjoyed our previous stays at Lingwood Lodge...
