      Very nice

      Stayed here after a day in the lakes and as an excuse to escape the teenage kids for the night. Don't be too put off by the area especially if you get stuck looking for the car park and end up in the back streets...More

      Weekend reunion

      Great hotel close to night life. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very modern . We were lucky enough to get one of the attic rooms which was really nice. Only ate there one night but food was good . Weatherspoons just a short walk...More

      Very comfy and convenient

      This is a very nice place, the only thing that lets it down slightly is the breakfast which to my mind was average. The location however was excellent and is right by the train station. The bar is also very good and very convenient. Rooms...More

      Good afternoon, the Abbey House Hotel is located about 1.5 miles outside of Barrow (and our hotel), on the same road as the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel. There aren't any hotels any closer, that I'm aware of. Best regards The... More
