The Fortescue Hotel may be an old building but it is exquisite to look at and the experience inside up to date and is very loving. The only downside is that you cannot get anything to eat in the hotel after 9pmMore

Ifracombe and wide mouth bay places like that are about 10 miles away ,but maybe a small one nearer sorry not sure.
