The owners offer a warm welcome and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I found the breakfast to be of a very high standard, however an evening meal was not available. Parking can be a problem, there is a very small car park opposite but there is nowhere else available as it seems that Barnstaple has...

Returned to stay at the Yeo Dale three years after my last stay there. Easy to find in a good location on the river, with convenient parking just a few steps away. Nice old property, quite imposing facade and nice wide entrance hall. Paul, the owner is very friendly and helpful and a great cook. The room was really well...

This is no hotel, located opposite the fire station and on main route to the hospital so not the place for peace and quite. Parking a real problem too. The room was straight out of the Waltons, chinz overload or what. Breakfast was passable but not great and wouldn't stay here again. WiFi also poor to round it off.

this hotel was recommend to me by a customer who knew the owners, I stayed one night, the owner is very friendly, the rooms are very nice, and the breakfast was excellent, they even had gluten free bread and sausages, the only downsides are the breakfast orange juice( not so nice) and the road noise at the front, but overall...

I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night for a wedding in Barnstaple on the Satuday. I had a single room on the top floor. Everything was spotless and the bed comfy. The tv not only worked but was tuned in to the correct channels (unusual!!). Breakfast excellent. But most of all was the warm welcome. Well done, and if...

Stayed here for one night for work. Really helpful staff and very good breakfast. My room was clean and bright. Parking could be a problem as you have to park on the street. However I would stay here again on a passing visit.

I have been meaning to write a review for this hotel for some time! I have stayed here at least four times for business and it is becoming a bit of a home away from home. I couldn't fault anything about my stay at this hotel at all. The owners, Paul and Sarah, are so welcoming and friendly. I would...

Our first stay at Yeo Dale. The greeting was very friendly and helpful information was given re places to eat in Barnstaple. it is a lovely clean place with character. My 4 areas of criteria for a great stay were met and exceeded: Our bed was very comfortable and a good size (which is always a plus); The shower was...

This was my second trip to Yeo Dale and I received the same warm welcome. The quality of the room and breakfast was top notch! Only small downside is that my street facing room was a little noisey due to no double glazing. Luckily there was not too much traffic late at night. The breakfast is especially good - locally...

Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was A++. Very comfortable, clean spacious rooms. Local knowledge of places to eat was spot on, which really helps with a 3 year old in tow. I really couldn't fault anything about the stay. So nice to have people looking after you who genuinely care about how comfortable you are under their roof.
