We booked a superior room for an overnight stay as we were both very tired and liked the idea of a little more space. The room was fine but the bathroom needs attention - the taps were coming away from the unit and were on the verge of splitting. The room needed a deep clean (the carpets weren't very clean,...

Stayed here whilst my son was visiting the University. The twin room was a reasonable size and clean but, like the rest of hotel, it could do with a refurbishment. Same for the bathroom - perfectly adequate but could be so much better. Breakfast was good with cereals and a cooked assortment. The staff, however, were brilliant - helpful and...

Stayed here during February, building itself is a little worn perhaps, some of that is just the age of the place but a little tlc may help. The real gem here though is the people. No pretentions, All genuine nice poeple to talk to and go out of their way to help. Checkin was smooth, bit of a rabbit warren...

Stayed here on Saturday night using my points. Pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite on arrival. The reception staff were first class and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and cared for. The breakfast was amazing and made all the better by all the cheerful staff. Every member of staff we came across was...

Stayed here for just one night, very nice hotel. A large comfortable, clean room. Good sized bathroom. Nice friendly staff, very good food, cracking breakfast & reasonable priced bar. Did not have time to try the leisure facilities, but they looked excellent.

Stayed next to the Presidential Room. It was my birthday so had my two sons and wives and two grandchildren in three rooms. Breakfasts are brilliant - good quality, bacon and sausages in particular. The pool and leisure facilities are excellent. Best to look for a deal if, like us, you were staying for a weekend break.

Keep returning to this hotel, it is comfortable, friendly, convenient, numerous facilties, friendly and helpful staff, and I have probably been served by all Reception staff by now.
