The Old Mill has managed to get all the elements that go to make a good hotel, just right. The staff are friendly and helpful without being over familiar. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Comfortable bed. Really nice home cooked food and a good breakfast- this is a great place to stay.

Took my wife here for lunch for her birthday, we had previously ate here about 8yrs ago and thoroughly enjoyed the food! Although it's a 25 minute drive it is well worth the journey. I had the smothered chicken in garlic and mushroom sauce, and my wife had the salmon and prawn en croute The portions were more than ample...

Every staff member we encountered was unfailingly charming and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped and the bar cosy. Food was excellent - I had one of the best steak and kidney puddings I have ever eaten. Our team was very well looked after and our stay at The Old Mill made the business trip even more...

My family(partner Susan and our three-year-old son Archie-Mac) had a one night stay here after a visit to Nunstainton Stud where we have a small share in a Racehorse residing there. We arrived mid afternoon to a crammed Car Park with many people arriving for dinner and only a few hours later I began to understand why this place was...

It was fairly late on a Friday and I ordered home made steak and kidney pudding with chips and veg. The pudding was large but really more like a pie,...

We stayed here for 4 nights in September and could not fault the rooms or the food, however, it is the staff that make this establishment. From the booking made by telephone, our arrival and at all times in our stay all the staff were excellent. The rooms are furnished well with everything you are likely to need during your...

Desk in room helpful and excellent wifi. Diner was fantastic pub grub from a substantial menu. Prawn cocktail was massive and lamb in suet pudding was equally large and beautifully...
