Very convenient setting with good car parking space. Great location & convenient for town centre. Excellent service at the reception which was equaly matched by the great sevice in the restaurant. Slight hicup with the provision of food due to a gas supply problem but this was soon resolved. The food was excellent. Listed food as a selectoin of small... More

Love going to this establishment. The price is reasonable, the staff are brilliant and the meals are great. What more do you want?? Oh, and the bed was very comfortable and plenty of hot water for the shower/bath. Don't tell anyone else about this place because it's very popular and we struggle to get a room sometimes. It's just so... More

We stayed here for a midweek break. All the staff were polite and professional. It was very clean and the food was exceptional. Our room was a little on the tired side but very comfortable and clean. We would deffinately return for a second visit.

Staying in this hotel while travelling from Kent to Glasgow, we were attracted by our experiences in a different Wetherspoons Hotel. However this - while perfectly comfortable and handy - was less prepossessing! A similar type of place to other city hotels by wetherspoon's, it needs a refurbishment. The rooms are tired, and the bathrooms need new fittings (our flush... More

Hi, Thank you for your valuable feedback. The hotel is going through a phased refurbishment at the moment and I do apologise for the flush. It had been replaced the previous day and this obviously wasn't successful. Hope to see you again and the Brocket soon. Regards, Peter More

This is the first Wetherspoons hotel I have stayed in although very familiar with the pubs.A very pleasant surprise to find a cosy room with all the amenities of a normal hotel hairdryer, tea/coffee making, also bottled water a nice extra touch..No noise from the bar and handy to nip down for dinner and breakfast.Staff very friendly and helpful.

The curtains were too thin and so let it lots of light and so could not sleep. Bath had hairs in it. Otherwise, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly. Food: No brown bread-very strange as most people today eat brown bread.

Hi, Sorry about the issues you had. Firstly, let me apologise about the bath. This is not the normal standard we expect at JDW. As for the curtains, we do blinds as well as curtains on a roller. Your comments regarding the Bread I have passed onto head office as we only provide white as a company standard. Regards, Peter More
