We arrived late in the night and were met by nothing but friendly and accommodating staff. Our check in was simple and painless. Once in the room we were pleasantly surprised by the size of both the room and the main bed. The room was clean and all of the amenities functioned properly.

We arrived about 1400 on Saturday and our room wasn't quite ready, but the charming housekeeper was really accommodating and let my father lie on the sofa bed whilst she finished. She and her colleagues were all chatty and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, including extra tea bags and sugar(we had our own milk! A necessity...

Rooms are average, Clean, although a little mould on the wall. No telephone in room so arranged wake up call could not be made. No one knocked in the morning, but fortunately I woke up in time for my appointments. Poor shower, it ran either boiling hot or cold and water flow was poor. TV very small. Large bed, very...

Attending a party locally and needed somewhere to stay, booked a family room in case we needed the extra space. Checkin was easy, room was two singles pushed into a double, and then 2 single mattresses laid out on the floor. Kettle but no coffee/tea, cleaner had also left 2l cider bottles and empty cans from previous guests in a...

We were travelling to Scotland for the Christmas break and on impulse we decided to go a night earlier to break our journey. I was looking for a sensible price stop off as we would only be there overnight. I found this hotel, when I was looking at another chain off hotels. It looked similar in its decoration both internally...

First visit tonight, probably also the last. Waited exorbitant amount of time for food which was then mostly served incorrectly (missing extras w/ meals, steaks well done when requested med. rare). Sent my steak back and waited further half hour before asking after it, at which point was served with another wrong steak. Gave up at this point and decided...

Nice clean convenient place to rest your head after going the races. Room clean and well maintained with tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom stocked with shampoo soap and body wash which is always a bonus. Beds were comfy.

The team stayed at this hotel because we were operating some equipment at the racecourse. Extremely convenient for that. We arrived at the hotel around 20.00hrs to be greeted with the obligatory "If reception isn't manned please ring bell" notice. To be fair a receptionist appeared very quickly and the booking in procedure was soon dealt with. Off to the...

Found the hotel ok and parking was great. Check in was a pain waiting nearly half hour before having to go into the bar and find someone to check us in. The room was clean though no complimentary toiletries. The room was quiet and peaceful. Not sure if it was worth the £60 a night fee but overall it was...

Booked a family room for an overnight stay Good location directly off the M6 with ample parking On arrival there was a slight problem with our booking then we were given keys to a room unfortunately the beds hadn't been made up but the receptionists quickly resolved the mix up and gave us keys to another family room where the...
