We stayed here from the 7th-13th August, we found this place on the Internet after our initial reservation was double booked. My enquiry was handled by Yvonne, who was so very helpful in understanding our situation and the booking was arranged between herself and our contact. Arriving there you'll find the turn off for the place opposite Devon Hills on... More

We were greeted by Yvonne with a fresh Devon cream tea, a vase of flowers, a jug of milk and 6 fresh eggs from her hens. The cottage had all home comforts including a hairdryer, full size electric cooker, fridge freezer and a dishwasher for which tablets were supplied. The bed was made up ready for us and was very... Family of 4 (2 boys 10 & 12) We arrived during the half term week to a friendly welcome from Yvonne who showed us to our cottage "Dartmoor View". Inside we found homemade scones, clotted cream and 1/2 dozen fresh farm eggs (courtesy of the chickens 20 yards away) waiting for us – a pleasant surprise. The cottage was a... More

“Speak to the owners first about special considerations (newborn baby, dog, etc.) and they can advise on which cottage is most suitable. As some are connecting so that large groups can stay together, some travellers would be happier in smaller units.”
