This was a lovely wee trip away for my husband and I. The hotel on arrival was stunning and the suite we hired was simply beautiful. We did find however that the shower in the room was leaking and the water was freezing. We had a meal which was out of this world then we went to the bar and...

Ate here last night as a Mother's Day treat. I would have preferred an a la carte menu but the set menu was great value at £20 for 2 courses. Couldn't fault the food, it was delicious and the setting is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

It was a very comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The decor let the hotel down as it was tired and in need of an upgrade. Spa facilities were good. Hot tubs are available for some ground floor rooms but there is no privacy.

If you haven't been to Dunbar you really should go-it's only 20 minutes from Edinburgh by train in a beautiful seaside location. The Bayswell occupies the prime spot overlooking Bass Rock. Great food and great service. Things have really changed at the Bayswell and it is well worth a visit.

Visited the hotel today and I have to say my friend and I had a lovely time. From reception to the lovely barman that provided me with an alcohol free cocktail instead of prosecco, the spa staff and the quality of the afternoon tea it was a superb day. Jodie gave me a wonderful spa treatment, very professional but also...

A midweek stay on business. The hotel is easy to find and there is an ample parking lot in front of the hotel (noisy stone gravel). Check in was straight forward, the staff were friendly. I stayed on the first floor, the room was facing the road (opposite side would be a sea view). The room was dated but seemed...

We had the most amazing over night stay in one of the hot tub suites. It was a Christmas present for me from my partner and it was the best Christmas present I could have had. We had this on a 5pm deal which was the room and breakfast, a massage each and strawberries and prosecco on arrival. The duty...
