We decided to pop into The Steamer Inn for a bite to eat, we were a bit unsure as it has some varied reviews. In our experience, this place was great. The portions are huge and well presented, the staff are polite and well turned out, and the view. Well the view is amazing. You really need to visit yourself...

Room was spotless, and cleaned and fresh towels everyday.. Staff were very professional and helpful..food was very good, although portions were very large, only suggestion with that would be smaller portions and the lower prices a touch...Breakfast was excellent, again only criticism would be to make it an hour long for residents... Brilliant location,seafront..very busy, very popular place, with live music at weekends...We...

Young couple on holiday wanting dinner on the seafront. Wide variety of mains. Excellent specials board (we both chose from it) Very friendly staff. Massive portions, wanted dessert but couldn't fit it in! Relaxed atmosphere. Nicely busy so must be popular. Would come back! Highly recommend!

We have been to this restaurant about four times over the last few years and always had very nice food and friendly service we last visited this restaurant in 2014 so when we returned this week on the 17th May 2016 we made a special effort to go for another meal there. We are not sure exactly what has happened...

Over priced sandwiches. Nothing to write home about but lovely view of the waterfront. Just a pub really. People rate the seafood but prawns are prawns no matter where you eat them. You def pay for the view here.

We had a meal with a group of friends here and the food was excellent, very good quality and very large portions. I had the deli crab cakes and chips (smaller portion) and was still given a large plate of chips and two fish cakes, as well as salad. There was live music which was brilliant.

We visited here Friday night, a live band was playing, they weren't too bad, but were quite loud. The menu was quite extensive, so much to choose from! I had the gammon and was surprised at how much of it there was! We all received very large portions! Though the portions were large, the quality of the food did not...

Food was very nice but far too much for us. However the children's portions were not really enough for our 8 year olds so they also shared ours. Three of us had the cod which had many bones and I'm afraid none of us like bones in our fish. There is a large selection of drinks and the price is...
