(Originally booked through Expedia) I stayed at the Fawley with my wife and 7-month-old child and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We were greeted with a smile and the hosts (Debbie and Mark) were friendly and very accommodating of the fact we had a 7-month-old baby with us - they provided a travel cot, fridge for baby food and...

Just spent 2 nights at The Fawley and could not fault anything. As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly & were even asked if our bags could be taken up. Check in was swift & easy and our room was very nice. We stayed in a superior room (number 7) on the top floor which was well appointed,...

Our 1st visit to the island, but it won't be our last. What a fantastic place to and a lovely place to stay made our visit even better. A spotlessly clean room with a view of the sea, and lovely, extra touches that makes the place so special. After a long day travelling we were greeted with a warm welcome...

Really nice, clean hotel with the owner being very helpful and friendly. The room was nicely decorated with a well equipped on-suite and a plentiful supply of tea and coffees. Breakfast was freshly cooked and top notch and would recommend the sausages. Would defiantly stay here again and will pass on the recommendation to others planning a trip to the...

My friend and I stayed at The Fawley Shanklin at the end of march 2017 for five days. This is a very nice family run B&B. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast menu has a wide range of food to eat. There is also a lounge with a...

Warmly greeted by Debbie on arrival who runs The Fawley with husband Mark and daughter Anna - all were kind and helpful. Our red room, which was situated at the front of The Fawley, was cosy and well presented with welcome tray (fresh milk on request) bottled water, and toiletries in the en suite. The breakfast was superb and really...

I feel the glowing reviews on Trip Adviser for this hotel are really very generous, and when I checked in I went back on Trip Adviser to re-read them. I don't feel that the Fawley justifies more than two stars, perhaps 2.,5. The room was small, a bit bland, and the shampoo/conditioner etc wasn't replenished on day two of my...

I'm very sorry to hear that your stay wasn't to the standard you'd expected. Regarding the breakfast our menu does state that eggs are fried with a full english unless otherwise requested when ordering. Perhaps next time you take issue with food in a hotel you could let staff know before you leave in order for the situation to be...
