We had to walk through the dining room to get to our rooms. It's a big hotel. We were on the ground floor as we had friends who had limited mobility. There are no lifts...

We were very impressed with the staff, always friendly and helpful and attentive. We were put into the newly re-furbished section of the hotel and had a nice room with a VERY large bed and a comfortable mattress. The bathroom had been updated with a large shower (no bath). Our room was lovely and warm with an excellent heared towel rail also. The TV was a good size and had an excellent picture. We had unlimited tea...

Friendly lady on reception, very helpful. The experience would have been significantly better if a. The TV had been tuned properly, b. The wifi was a touch above useless and c. The kettle worked. Facilities were clean and tidy. We had some snacks and beer , happy to recommend some one

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Medehamstede Hotel. It is tired and dated but the staff are friendly and the food good. There was entertainment on every night which was good and overall this 3 night break was great value for money.
