Cubbon house is a budget B&B that is value for money. It has the things that hotels don't even bother supplying. Upon arrival, I was met by Paul who then took my suitcase to my room. My room was a box room with a shower, also with complimentary shower Gel, shampoo and even had cotton buds/wool. The walls are quite...

Just 5 minutes walk from ferry terminal & town attractions. Great value for money. Our double room was compact, but perfectly adequate for a mini break, ensuite & with sea views. Room well decorated, clean & facilities included tv, wifi, kettle, fridge. Very welcoming hosts & lovely cooked breakfast. Strongly recommend & hope to return soon.

We travelled as members of a motorcycle group and the group secretary had already booked into Cubbon House so we did the same. The phrase landed on our feet comes to mind. We received a warm welcome from Paul and Lisa and were quickly shown to our room which was spacious enough for our needs, at a comfortable temperature and...

I am the secretary of a motorcycle club and this year we decided to go to the Isle of Man for our AGM. I have no knowledge of the accommodation on the island so just picked what was the cheapest offered in Booking.com. Talk about hitting the jackpot, the place is spotlessly clean and the hosts Paul and Lisa are...

Clean, bright, airy, with a perfect view from my room of the choppy sea across Douglas Promenade, Cubbon House was a very good place to stay. The wi-fi is very efficient, unlike in other more expensive places. The staff are friendly, there when you need them, but not in your face. The b&b is also very well placed for shopping,...

This was booked as a surprise by my wife so I didn’t know what to expect, I wasn’t disappointed. (I'm usually a hotel man, so B&B is still relatively new to me.) The location is as good as it gets on the sea front at Douglas. When we arrived we had no problem parking outside the hotel. Paul and Lisa...

Trying to book a bed and breakfast over the Easter hols was very difficult in Douglas, but Cubbon House came to our rescue. Lisa and Paul are great hosts and really couldn't do enough for us. Top marks for that. Have to say the back room 4 i think, thats all that was left, had a terrible view of boarded...

We spent 2 nights at Cubbon House. It was a perfect choice. Our seaview room afforded a wonderful view of the promenade and the bay. It was an easy walk from the ferry terminal, bus stop, steam train station, shopping street, etc. The room had all things needed for a comfortable stay, with added bonuses such as a fridge, kettle...

Hi stayed for 2 nights.Lisa & Paul made you feel very welcome. They cook a mean breakfast, you cannot fault this. They are in the process of moving dining room to front so you will have a fab view of the sea. This B&B is great its a 10 from me.
