We stayed in a suite at the Ellan Vannin whilst on the Isle of Man to get married last month. Myself and my bride had a suite for a week and a number of our guests stayed in various rooms over the wedding weekend. The accomodation was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout.

This hotel was excellent - relaxed atmosphere - they couldn't do enough for us - breakfast great and lovely home baking in your room. Great ideas for wet weather and for eating out. Good free overnight parking and daytime parking at a cost if required. So near the ferry too!

Liked the room (No 6) at the back on 2nd floor. Friendly staff and proprietors. Loved the daily newsletters giving tips on what to see and where to go. Thoroughly enjoyed the small cakes that were left for us each day (a nice touch). Bed was huge and comfortable. Great having the nice kettle and tray arrangement and the availability...

My wife and I spent three nights here on our first ever visit to the Isle. It was a great place to stay in a central location. The owners and staff really impressed us with all the little extra things that did to make our stay a really pleasant one. I really cannot fault them on this. My only little...

We were a party of 29 ramblers aged 50s, 60s & 70s, couples & singles who stayed for 5 nights. The hotel is on Douglas's promenade near to shops & public transport. The building is in a terrace & on quirky levels but the rooms are all modern, en suite & very comfortable; some had a sea view. The food...

As very keen bikers, the Isle of Man is our perfect destination. We have previously been numerous times to ride the course post TT and always had a great time. There are many places to stay and we have stopped in a number of the islands bed and breakfasts, but the Ellan Vannin is by far the best, the host,...

Nice room with large comfortable bed. Modern ensuite. Free Wifi throughout. Didn't get to try the breakfast, but it looked very good. The staff were very helpful to answer questions and sort out anything we didn't understand. Also had the facility for leaving luggage on the day of departure so we could check out, go and explore, and collect the...

The Ellan Vannin has a great location on the Promenade, very close to the town, shops and restaurants. Our bedroom was fine, albeit with a limited view, with a very comfortable bed and a well-finished bathroom. Breakfasts were terrific, with a very varied menu, and efficient and friendly service. The bar was pleasant and well stocked - they ran out...

Stayed for TT race week so hotel full. Great location ten mins walk from the port. Well situated for shopping. A fountain and sunken gardens in front of the hotel on the promenade across the road making for a pleasant walk before turning in (although during TT week there are fairground rides on the prom) Our room (21) was on...
