Hotel is really nice. I booked a four night stay to visit family with myself and my two girls aged 5 and 9. I booked as I had wanted a central base to visit family who live on the Island. My main criteria was a nice standard of hotel and a pool. My girls always swim in the morning before...

Nice staff, but really quite tatty and in need of a serious makeover. Great atrium, but that does not make up for the dated features. Its not really that quirky, just tired and in serious need of investment.

Stayed for 1 night on business booked through Hotel.com . I booked an executive double . On arrival the room I was given wasn't the best ! The view was a view onto a wall and if you looked up could just see the sky ! I asked to be moved and was told " well you booked though Expedia...

Stayed here on two occasions in June & August. The hotel is distinctly average and in need of a refurb on some locations. Have to admit the staff were all extremely helpful & friendly though so i would give them 4.5*

I love this hotel for its quirkiness, most of the rooms overlook the victorian atrium with water feature and plants. The rooms have balconies over looking this large internal landscape, it is quite nice to sit and read either first thing with room service breakfast or before turning in for the night. Room 470 is very spacious with a lounge...

My colleagues and I stayed at the Sefton for one night as we had a business meeting in the hotel the following day. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Most rooms seem to be internally facing into the atrium. They all have balconies, but are not outside and therefore do not face the...

We had a four night nostalgic return to the island after an absence of 30 years. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the atrium ,was spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and well - maintained, although a little dated. The free parking was a welcome bonus. The facilities in the room were excellent - hospitality tray, good TV, trouser...

Just returned home after another long weekend spent at the brilliant Sefton Hotel. This time we stayed in the luxurious Hollywood Suite. This suite was as good if not better than the Hillary Suite we stayed in for Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May this year. Again everything was tip top. We totally recommend the food in The...

Fabulous dining experience and Gin tasting. This is a special treat not to be missed, the presentation of the food was fabulous and the waitress talked us though each stage, explaining the types of gin, the spices fruits and herbs to mix and try. Everything from service to presentation and preparation was truly a "big city" style of experience.
