A slight mix up in the booking was quickly sorted by our Host who could not do enough for us. We were moved to a room with a sea view and the chairs in the bay window were well used throughout our stay. Breakfast was piping hot and mega. So what's the but, we had a brilliant stay but it's... More

The gust house is located on the Promenade approximately one and a half miles from the centre . There is a poular pub next door which was handy and did not disturb us in any way. Our room had a large very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent and Carol was very accommodating. if we visit the IOM again we... More

Spent four nights with my wife and son although we were comfortable and the breakfast was ok, it did not merit a 4**** we have been in many guest houses that were 3*** and were well ahead of this one I wonder who grades the B&Bs but it would appear that they have no idea of what grading is about.

Promonade frontage with on road parking (you don't need a disc there) and, for 2 people over 70, an awful lot of stairs. Otherwise clean and tidy with a sitting room overlooking Douglas Bay. Good generous breakfasts, freshly cooked with plenty of coffee. The room was well appointed but the shower cubicle was rather claustrophobic. Will go again if we... More

I do not know why I have left it so long to rate this IOM guest house, as I used it for a number of years, whilst working for Douglas Council. I always found that Carol the owner, was very good and accommodating with any request when I stayed there. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, then its your... More

If you would like to wake up at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning to a dog yelping all night in the back garden then this is the place to stay. Worst night. The dog is latched to a ladder. Is clearly not used to being left outside. I would suggest finding a different b&b the Isle of Man have... More

Had room 0 which was at the front overlooking the prom. This room was spotlessly clean, with kettle and ample tea, coffee, milk etc. It had a walk in shower which was spotlessly clean with ample towels and body wash. Breakfast was full English, or variations of it, various cereals plus fruit and yogurts. It was very friendly and Carol... More
