We booked our first stay at this hotel for the TT practice week May 2014, and it was so good we promised to return and have just flown back home from our second stay at The Regency Hotel in June 2014. The hotel is right on the far end towards Onchan of the Douglas promenande, It has free 24hr parking... More

We have just visited the Island and once again stayed at this hotel. It is a year since the last visit and all of the senior staff who are excellent are still at the hotel together with many of the waiting staff. It is a pleasure to stay at a hotel where you are as a guest treated so welcoming... More

The staff at the Regency are totally amazing. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is very good, public areas are so quaint, with a very cute lift....Third visit so far, and will continue to come back every year, can't fault it, a real gem.

I stayed 4 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend at this hotel in a room on the 4th floor looking out to sea. The hotel was very quiet at this time as their main revenue seems to come from business travellers. The room was very comfortable and clean with three windows from which to admire the view. There was a... More

Stayed there on a business trip. Nice hotel, friendly staff, beautiful full English, recommend by Boston. I would stay there again. The best little lift I've seen for years. The restaurant food was stunning .... Thanks to all the staff

A very reasonably priced hotel with fantastic views overlooking the bay, the hotel contains all the home-from-home comforts. I'm coming back! A big thank you to Tim for his help and making us feel welcome.

Walking into the Regency has the best feel of any Isle of Man hotel, the clashing tartans and wood have a lovely ambience that carries on into the bar and restaurant. I know lots love it, but I've had terrible rooms on the two occasions I've stayed at the Regency on business. Once I had a cramped, airless, boiling room... More

I have been to Douglas a few times. this hotel was a lot better! my main issue with Douglas hotels is their aircon (or lack of) and that they were built too many years ago and simply just overheat. I'm not 100% convinced that this hotel wouldn't overheat in the summer. but its a lot better than the rest I... More

We have just returned from two nights at the hotel where we celebrated my mother-in-laws 90th birthday with a party in the restaurant. The rooms were well furnished, spotless with high quality linens. The only criticism I have is that there were no towelling robes. The hotel manager Tim and his staff could not do enough to make our stay... More

The hotel restaurant at the Regency is one of the best on the island, for great food, great wine, ambience, character & fantastic informal service, the restaurant manager / head waiter puts the cherry on top of the cake. A little gem hidden away at the north end of Douglas promenade. You won't be disappointed...
