Booked a double standard room, but was given a signature room, very nice. Place was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a good choice, well served by a polite professional. Highly recommend, great value.
Found this by chance to stay on business. Great room wth large tv and all in so comfortable.

St. James park is in Newcastle so you'd need to either take the metro or bus to get there. Taxi would be quite expensive. If your driving it'd be about a half hour drive from Whitley Bay.
