Immaculate, big room, quiet, dark , very clean , good bedding .
Personally could do with choice of softer pillows.

Stayed here Saturday night. Spoke briefly to the owner over the phone a couple of days prior who kindly upgraded us to a front room after asking the occasion of the stay itself.
The room was fantastic, very clean and cosy.

St. James park is in Newcastle so you'd need to either take the metro or bus to get there. Taxi would be quite expensive. If your driving it'd be about a half hour drive from Whitley Bay.
