My sister and I and 4 other women spent a week at the Pineapple Bay Resort arriving on January 18th. This beautifully kept resort is small and intimate, and our group felt like we were visiting a rich relative’s island vacation get away!!!! We absolutely loved the quaint atmosphere of the resort. My sister and I asked for an Oceanview Room, and we were not disappointed with the incredible view. We were in the 8 block, Room 815. Unlike other resorts I have stayed in, the bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room and balcony that we didn’t mind the 24 steps up and down to and from our room. Water pressure and temperature were always great as well as toilets and air conditioning always worked. The Coffee shop was amazing, ice coffee and hot specialty coffees, treats and individual fruit salads were available there. The food was delicious and fresh in every location, but we especially enjoyed breakfast in the Topaz buffet restaurant, where there was a vast selection to satisfy all. There is a snack bar for those who want a quick bite or snack between meals. The Outhouse bar and grill at the top of the hill was incredible and the ribs at lunchtime were to die for. But this is where we found the most spectacular view of this paradise! The tradition is to write your name on a wooden plank and the year/date of your visit and nail it to one of the trees or wooden posts of the restaurant. It was very interesting to see how many people come back year after year to this resort! Everything was close by, there were always a lot of chairs at the beach or pool, and the entire resort was so clean! All the staff were incredible from the women at the reception desk, to the servers and bartenders. Special shout out to Renée and Annetta (Coffee Shop), Anika (a real gem in Client Services), Dequan (spelling?) the Kind of the Fun Squad, Anne Marie, The Queen of the Fun Squad and the rest of the Fun Squad staff, Jamal (Porter) Amber (Room Manager) and Nicole (Hostess at the Topaz buffet). We did not get to know all of their names, but all the staff were overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jason, our excellent Nexus Tour’s driver who picked us up from the airport and sadly had to drive us back to the airport when our vacation was over. We hope management realize what a wonderful job they all do. My sister and I wanted a relaxed and easy vacation at a clean and cozy resort where we would feel safe, and Pineapple Bay was beyond perfect! We highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a laid back and relaxing vacation. We also made new friends from the Uk, Tennessee, Texas and Ontario that made our stay incredibly memorable. This was our first time but hopefully, it will not be our last as we have every intention of returning in the very near future.

We just returned from Pineapple Beach Club Antigua and what a fantastic week we had. The people that work at the resort are by far the best we have ever dealt with. Friendly, accommodating and genuinely sincere and kind. Our experience with the staff truly made the stay at this resort excellent. The food was outstanding and their creativity in having dinner in different restaurants each night made it very nice, as the numbers were down due to when we travelled. Our meals were outstanding and we especially loved our dinner at the Outhouse BBQ - pictures shown below- and Orchid restaurant. We had 2 rooms in the Waterfront section which is the best location for resort rooms on the entire Island. The beds were very very comfortable, the AC cold and the shower hot with good pressure. The resort was spotless and an abundance of beach towels and shaded areas on the beach. Having travels a lot and as well to Antigua I would highly recommend this resort and the beach it is located on. Well with the money and as mentioned already, the staff could not have made our stay any better. While we are not picky people, we do want certain things when we travel as noted above and all were met with exceptional ratings in our opinion.

This was our second visit to the Pineapple Beach Club having vacationed there in March 2024. The improvements to the outside reception area were beautiful and the remodeled Topaz Restaurant was quite impressive. Our room was more than comfortable with its many amenities. Better TV reception would have been nice for the times we did watch. We were there at the time of the AFC and NFC championship games and there were amassed fans in front of the coffee shop and the Acqua Bar trying to watch the games. The Eagles game was streamed from a computer with its constant buffering interruptions. A large screen TV at the large bar would have been welcome. We did notice a major shift in personnel as compared to March 2024; many of the older staff seem to have moved on replaced by much younger individuals who were very respectful and polite, but frankly, untrained; we experienced a number of times where the employee just seemed lost. That is not the fault of the employee but rather management. The real complaint we had was with the food. While breakfast was abundant and delicious, frankly the chefs have difficulty properly preparing a variety of proteins for large groups of people: Servings of fish, while seasoned very well, were dry after sitting in a serving tray. Meats such as roast lamb and roast beef were served well done and again, dry to the point that even gravy couldn't moisten. I found myself sticking to braised dishes as much as possible so as not to be disappointed. Much improvement is needed at the Topaz. I saw a few other apparent cost saving measures which were disappointments: Lesser quality scotch was all that was available at any bar; the Acqua Bar ran out of tonic water early in the week and lemons and limes were unavailable for a number of days. Overall, we once again had a wonderful vacation and Antigua and the PBC are for the most part terrific. There are some areas where management has to pay better attention if they wish to be known as a premier resort.

We were told the resort renovations would be completed before we arrived on Nov 1 st. I asked about this just a few days before we left and we were assured there would be no renos taking place and all would be completed. We arrived to find that the buffet was no where near completed and some of the rooms near the Beach area were also not even close to being finished. We arrived on a Saturday and the buffet was finally finished on the Wednesday evening. We were also told we could use their sister resort for dinners as well as use their pickleball facilities at night because they had lights for their courts. Once we arrived we were told no passes to use the courts or the restaurants would be given. We were completely lied to about both of these and we had cancellation insurance that would have allowed us to cancel even the day of the flights had we wanted to do so. We felt we would not need to do that since they said all the renos would be completed. Needless to say we feel very cheated to have paid over 6,000$ for a vacation that was not worth half that amount. Renos were still being completed even after we left so we feel people should be made aware of how poorly this place treats its guests. Once they have your hard earned money they really do not care. It was very unsafe with all the renos being done and feel the whole location should have been closed until the renos were completely finished. In my opinion if you are booking at PINEAPPLE BEACH ANTIGUA please be aware they will not treat you well after they have your money. We were not even allowed to have cans of pop in our rooms, they would give yo some of the can in your glass and they said they were instructed NOT to give out cans to guests. This is an all inclusive and to have pop in our rooms we had to go to the gift shop and purchase it.

This was a beautifully kept resort with some exceptional staff. We had oceanview room in the 700 building. View was incredible and grounds had beautiful lush vegetation. Alot of stairs in the 600,700 800 and 900 buildings, not suitable for limited mobility guests unless you request golfcart service which was available but would recommend discussing with hotel. Room was recently refurbished and was spacious and clean except floors looked dirty or black with grout and paint spilled everywhere or not cleaned properly. We had king bed and was comfortable .Water pressure and temperature were always great as well as toilets and air conditioning always worked. Please note maid service is every other day and they do not provide drinks in the mini fridge. They do not provide free water bottles but there are water dispensers and cups at all the bars. Coffee shop amazing, ice coffee and hot specialty coffee and treats and snacks available there. Renee and gentleman working there always exceptional service. Beach and water was wavy but beautiful and swimmable everyday despite red flag. Pools beautiful but we prefer beach. Food always amazing in every location, exceptional staff like Stacey Ann, Tricia and Joyce in the Topaz, I could not remember all names but many great staff. Entertainment each night was ok, steel drum band and beach bbq night was amazing! This is a resort with an older crowd so laidback and not rowdy with loud music etc. When we were there. Wonderful peaceful vacation. Biggest complaint is such a steep resort fee and tourism levy that really adds up. Would recommend this resort but the fee is a deterrent to coming back.

My family just returned from a week at PBC and all six of us, loved every minute! The property is beautiful, the food is delicious and beach is so pretty. I disagree with the complaints about the food. If you want cheese pizza, fries and chicken nuggets, go somewhere else. If you want delicious grilled fish, vegetables, an array of meat and vegetarian options, PBC hits that mark. I also did not see any problem with the seaweed on the beach. Every single morning we saw hardworking people shovel up the seaweed which washed up overnight leaving the beach clear, powdery and beautiful. There is always going to be some seaweed around (it is the sea after all) and complaining about that is like complaining about there being too much salt in ocean water. The beds were comfy, the air conditioner powerful, the Wi-Fi in the rooms strong, and the shower water hot. Sure the rooms could use a little bit of updating perhaps, but with a property this beautiful, you won't spend much time in the room. There is always security on the beach (even during the night) and we felt safe. The resort is pretty compact so it is never a long walk to get anywhere, but at the same time, it never felt busy (even though it is peak season) and there were always plenty of beach chairs available. My only complaints (and they are very small ones).....as a coffee lover....the coffee at the restaurant was not good, but that was ok because the coffee at the cute coffee shop was delicious. And because PBC does not use wrist bands to identify guests, there is no self-seating at meals. This results in sometimes long lines at the Topaz restaurant as guests waited to be seated. We never did try the a la carte restaurants because the line ups at the guest service desk every morning were too long. But that was not a problem as we loved the food at Topaz. It was a great week at a great resort. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone.

Let me start with a few of the negatives. There was no wifi at the gym, the gym also had half the main cardio equipment out of order. The evening entertainment was too downbeat even the Christmas Day evening celebration feel flat once the steel band finished. Final slight negative was that the food in the buffet was not hot, more warm. We also booked a tour which was cancelled at the last minutes without notice and rescheduled to Christmas Day which we did not want to miss the activities at the resort so had to cancel.
The positives were the location, staff, quality of service, food was good despite the negative mentioned above. The resort was very well maintained and clean. Almost every member of staff would say hello and smiled every time you see them. The service offered by the bar staff, serving staff especially in the coffee shop was excellent. All the food was nice and well prepared, as mentioned it wasn’t always hot which would have been an improvement but still worth a good rating for food. Back to the helpfulness of the staff there was one evening when my daughter and i were waiting for some something by one of the food stations and I guess it was the manager came over and asked if we were ok, I explained we were waiting for something that the chef had said would be ready soon. He asked us to wait whilst he checked and came back and said he would bring it over to us. TOP SERVICE from him in my mind, going above and beyond. Despite the challenges of keeping the report tidy with hundreds of guests and also local wildlife it looked clean and was tidy. The facilities were all good including a comfortable bed. It was easy to book any of the restaurants.
Although I do not think we’d go back there were so many guests there that we spoke to that were back for several years in a row. We have stayed at several of the other hotels in the group and this is very close to the St. James Club but I think we preferred that over PBC or the Verandah.
Despite there being an above preference I would still say the Pineapple Beach Resort is nice and it will be the right place for many people to enjoy a great holiday.

The room had black mold growing up the wall, broken fixtures, etc. Paid a resort fee and our room was not cleaned by day 3 had to strip the bed myself and go to desk to ask for clean one, tried calling and nobody answers the phone on numerous occasions . Had no water when going back to room 3 different days, had to shower on the beach to get ready for dinner!! Nobody answer the phone for that problem had to walk down to desk. My concern if someone fell and you needed to call nobody would pick up. I have tried bringing these issues with the Resort and Elite Many calls and emails and NO RESPONSE .

We just returned from our trip and yes, we would stay there again. The property was kept clean, particularly the main dining area. The staff members continually worked to keep the buffet area neat.
We want to recognize the following individuals: TJ and Manual at Topez, Andi, Michael and Ann Marie in Activities and Clementina at Cafe 1761. These people exceeded our expectations every day and made our stay pleasurable.
Egmund has to be one of the most committed employees at Pineapple Beach Club....always smiling and quick to respond to our request for a to go container for a friend that didn't feel up to going to dinner.
We requested a room that would accommodate our traveling companions, who needed to be close due to physical limitations. We stayed in the 400 block near the Turtle pool and our house keeping attendant was thorough and thanked us for the chocolates we left for Valentine's Day.
We've been taking winter trips for many years and this year we opted for a relaxed, less crowded property and we are glad we chose PBC. It was hard to go from 85 degrees to 5 degrees when we got back home!
We called our trivia team Sexy Seniors......The Activities Team was awesome.

Everything was perfect! The room was tidy and clean and came w a mini fridge and coffee maker, the beds were king size and comfy. The beach with the palms scattered about provided shade when desired. The beach was constantly monitored for empty cocktail glasses and plentiful beach chaises were re-arranged every evening. The sound of the waves 24/7 was magical and so peaceful. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The snorkeling was great RIGHT THERE(they have all the equipment)! and we also enjoyed a hobie cat sail w "super Mario"! You could also go out on your own. There were kayaks, too. There were large floating rings w tight netting across the bottom anchored in about 3 feet of water to relax and sunbath on. They thought of everything!! The food and drinks were all fantastic and the fun and chill atmosphere was the best we could have asked for! It was one of the best vacations we've ever taken!

It is easy to get around if you aren’t up the hillside.
Ask for a ground floor room in 400 block.
It’s a lovely resort.
The Verandah is a lot of walking or always needing a cart.

As of our visit in January/February multiple renovations had been done: The welcome area now has a roofed area with seating outside near the fountain. The best renovation took place at the main dining hall, with the recessed table area raised and leveled. Great job.
There are more places to choose from in the Willikies area.
