Spent a week here with my adult family from Feb 13-20 2019. The house is very large and has absolutely everything you need. It is a bit difficult to find and it is off the beaten path but it makes up for amazing views of Long Bay (very close, maybe 1/2km to Pineapple Beach resort). Set your GPS for Mama`s Pasta and you will find the house up the hill. The house is situated just a few feet from the ocean but it is up high on a cliff, I don't believe there is any access down to the ocean and it is very rocky. I would not recommend this property for small kids. There are no guard railings or fencing around the cliffs. The beach is a 2 min car ride away, you could walk it but the road down to the beach is steep so we always drove. We felt very safe in the house, there is no AC but you don't need it. It is always very breezy and cool at night. Lots of comfy out door furniture. Inside 1 king bed (very comfy)1queen, also comfy and 2 singles, not so comfy. 3 bathrooms. 2 showers. Kitchen has everything you need. Netflix is available but we didn't watch it. Property is gated and you need to lock up the gate every time you leave - a bit of a pain but safe. We rented a car, roads are terrible, lot free roaming goats, donkeys and cattle. So many beaches to explore. We loved Hermatige Bay and Half Moon Bay. Food is expensive (bring your food staples with you, no problem at customs just declare it.) Chicken is cheap cheap cheap. Beef is crazy expensive. You will need to buy bottled water - about $1.00 Canadian per gallon. This was my second trip to Antigua, it really is a lovely island. Will return and will do a AIR b&b again, way cheaper than the resorts. Be sure to visit Shirley heights and English Harbour (the Dockyards) Lots happening in English harbour at night, amazing yachts. Plan on spending at least to 45 minutes driving anywhere on the island. Even though the island is small, roads are not very direct and in poor condition. Mama`s Pasta (the closest restaurant) was closed every time we tried to go. You will need to drive to eat out.
