Stayed here for 3 nights and cannot say a bad word about it. For a budget hotel it was perfect for our first stay on isle of Wight. The rooms were clean, made up everyday, bathroom was clean and the shower a powerful one (which is lovely after a walk up needles!!), beds are comfy, room was spacious enough for...

Although the hotel is dated this did not take away the fact that it is excellent value for money. The twin bedded room was clean and comfortable and the new water system gave the most fantastic powerful shower. We did not have an evening meal but breakfast was plentiful with variety. A hotel not pretending to be something it isn't...

this review is in two halves, the first is the bad bit about the awful twin room they gave us on the groupon deal,i will never understand this policy about giving the groupon deal rooms the worst that the hotel has DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO RETURN ? plus the hotel was nearly empty that night, now the good bit was that...

The hotel, whilst a bit dated and in need of a cosmetic refurb, offers comfort and a friendly atmosphere at an extremely good price. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom likewise. The only meal we took at the hotel was breakfast and this was excellent in both choice and quality. Overall, a nice hotel offering great value...

Lovely hotel, clean room and great staff. Nothing too much trouble for these folks, they even decorated our room with birthday banners and balloons that had been dropped off earlier in the week. Close to town centre and the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, only about a 2 min walk to the pier. Staff very friendly. Hotel was clean and the room was clean as well maybe can do with an update on the rooms, but we was okay for one night. The main issue was the breakfast. The sausages looked like they had been re-heated up and they looked a bit...

I booked a very last minute February half term term break to the IOW and this hotel served its purpose (i.e., a clean place to sleep), but it's so frustrating to see a wonderful building that's essentially clean and tidy but lacking in basic decor and room amenities. It takes so little to give a room a lick of fresh...

Very old fashioned inside, rooms clean but small. Limited parking would be difficult if the hotel was full. WiFi non existent in the room. TV in room tiny. Bed very hard. Dining room very large and was freezing, had 2 small fan heaters on.

Great value for money we booked a Groupon deal which included dinner on the first night, breakfast and ferry crossing which the hotel arranged. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice with enough options available. Dinner was lovely all freshly cooked and very tasty. The whole area was very quiet as we were very out of...

We paid a extra £10 for seaview (weather so awful could not see the end of the road, let alone the sea!) - but that was not the Hotel's fault. It was only £40 a night and included breadfast - which was much better than expected. Infact, 1st class english breakfast. Bedrooms very basic but serve the purpose and really...
