Fiona was a very helpful and welcoming host. She is also a brilliant chef and provided home-cooked evening meals of a very high standard. My room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast times were flexible and ideally suited to my early walking schedules. Bella, the cat, provided extra amusement. This is a B&B I will want to return to...

Wonderful accommodation in the must beautiful peaceful setting. We had 1 of the cottages and 2 friends were staying in the house - breakfast was excellent. Fiona could not have been more helpful and kind. Very impressed. The cottage was well equipped, had a patio area and comfortable beds. We had our horses corralled nearby and were riding through the...

Stayed here for four nights and as bed and breakfast places go it's right up there with the good ones. I am certain anyone who stays here will not be disappointed. What makes this place exceptional is Fiona, the hostess. If she offers to cook supper for you and you appreciate excellent food, do not refuse. Her culinary skills are...

My husband and I went here for a break just after our wedding and it was great. We stayed in one o the cottages and Fiona (the owner) had put a bottle of Fizz in the fridge for us as we were newly weds and honestly was most a accommodating and nicest woman. The cottage was lovely and just what...

We booked a room together with our 13 month old daughter. Since a cottage was available, we got to stay there for the night. Was a lovely surprise! We received a warm welcome and breakfast in the morning was complete. Nothing was to much, even some special attention to our daughter.

Saying this is the best quality-price possible is true but just not enough. The house had everything we needed and a few extras more. The owners pay lots of attention to detail and at the same time they have a very practical thinking. We spent 2 weeks in a self-catering cottage and the experience has been just perfect. But if...

We visited Scotland for the first time for about two weeks and stayed at a lot of BnBs, but at no place we felt so welcomed and at home like in Ruthven House. Fiona and Colin were great hosts and provided us with everything we needed. Especially the dinner Fiona cooked for us was just fantastic. It is not like...

We stayed for one night in July in Ruthven House and even if the place was not so bad we were very disappointed by the hosts behaviour. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with comments on your recent stay.
