Lovely setting and beautiful room. The guesthouse is a little out of town but easily walkable. The room was really well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was great and the owners were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

A lovely room overlooking the gardens with a well appointed bathroom. A relaxed atmosphere with a mini bar in your room and an honesty bar downstairs. Warm welcome, even though an hour early our room was soon ready. Breakfast had a wide choice of foods, drinks (although the sausage wasn't my favourite). Ample parking but some at the bottom of... Struggled to find a guesthouse that appealed when looking, this one was a jem. Lovely old big house with character and great gardens, but also had a airy modern feel and was spotlessly clean. Great staff, great breakfast, deserves every good review on here.

Lovely old building with large stepped gardens and pool area. Nice rooms which vary in size. Try the garden room if available. Excellent breakfasts. Especially liked the honesty bar which is reasonably priced. Easy walk into Ilfracoombe though walk back to house is uphill if your not fit. Taxis are cheap though.

This guesthouse has a very warm, homely feel. We stayed in the attic room which was clean, spacious and with a good view of the beautiful garden. It was a bonus to have a well stocked mini bar. The rooms seemed to have excellent sound insulation as we didn't hear any noise from other guests so slept soundly. As mentioned... More

The owners and staff are very welcoming, our attic room was quiet and very comfortable, and the guesthouse is well-placed for exploring the town and the coastal walks. It is dog-friendly. There are many places nearby and around the harbour area for eating and drinking.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at this lovely B/B. I spoke to Nicky on the phone on booking and she was very friendly and helpful. We had Room 9 which was on the ground floor and very quiet. We had our 16 year old Border Collie with us and having always lived in a bungalow she... More

We ( my partner, my doggy & I ) came here on a two day short break. Amazing place. Clean, welcoming, friendly, gay friendly, dog friendly. Very clean, and the room has all the little extras and finishing touches. Awesome breakfast. We stayed in a room opening onto the garden ( room 9 ) well worth booking this room of... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in August just for a mini break. We couldn't fault the place. The room was clean and tidy and the en-suite even had a lovely sized bath as well as a nice shower and everything was spotless! There were toiletries provided and even a bottle of water in the room and a... More
