This is a great b&b, centrally located, with extremely clean and modern facilities, run by a very friendly and helpful couple. I've stayed in quite a few places in Ilfracombe and the Olive Branch is the best accommodation in the town. Faultless and a much higher standard than the hotels... and the breakfast is as good as you will get...

We stayed here for four nights and were thoroughly satisfied with what we found. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, although our rather quirky room on the top floor would have benefitted from more shelves or table tops - not even a hook in the huge bathroom and a rather challenging shower. But very friendly and helpful hosts who provided...

I had booked the Olive Branch for it's location near to the harbour and had not expected the room to be of note but was pleasantly surprised with the light, bright room and the wonderful view of the sea. The hosts were very helpful, the breakfast was very good. Only niggles- breakfast was busy so it took longer for ours...

We do thank you for your review, you were advised that you might wish to have breakfast at 8am however you arrived at 8.25 and unfortunately 4 other people were being served at the time so we could not get to you straight away and we do cook all food from fresh. Regards, The Olive Branch.

This is in Fore Street, in the historic part of town, with all the advantages and disadvantages that go with it. Fore Street is narrow and steep, but pretty, and offers a variety of places to eat. They go up market as you go up hill. Only seven bedrooms. Three floors, no lift. But rooms and beds are clean and...

We stayed at The Olive Branch for two nights in August. The B and B is in a perfect central location in Ilfracombe. There is no parking on site but we dropped off our bags by parking in a loading bay just outside and checking in. Paul then kindly gave us a map to show where the parking was and...

Situated on fore st on the way down to the harbour in the centre of Ilfracombe the Olive Branch is a welcome stopover on the north coast of Devon. Our hosts welcomed us with drinks and biscuits. Our room was at the top of the building some three flights of stairs up. If you have problems walking make sure you...

A fantastic four night stay at the Olive Branch. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The owners were friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge - from restaurant advice to local sights they knew it all! We stayed in the deluxe room which was enormous and had a fantastic view of the sea along with a great...

We booked into this Guest House because it is only a ten minute walk from The Tunnels Beaches where we were attending a Wedding. We stayed for three nights in room 1 which is at the top of the building. There were a fair few stairs to climb so it would not be suitable for the disabled guest. There is...

I cannot fault this Bed and Breakfast. Our room was large, well decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was first class. The owners are very friendly and even the dog is cute! There is a restaurant below the B&B, but we did not eat there, so can't comment. We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for three nights in room 5 to attend a wedding. The owners were warm and friendly. The room was a lovely size, very clean and the bed extremely comfy. The sea views were amazing. Breakfast in the morning was also great. Would definitely recommend and go back there - it's an ideal location for exploring ilfracombe :-)
