We had the pleasure of spending a few days at this beautiful guest house in Ilfracombe which i had never visited before. Wow!!!! On entering the property my first impression was how beautifully clean and nicely decorated. Sharon greeted us and checked our group in. We had a tour of the house & all of the amenities. There is a... More

We had a 3 night stay last month. Our first in a long time and we were made very welcome at the Collingdale. Sharon could not do enough for us to make us welcome and even walking to the top floor twice a day didn't put a dampner on our stay. Weather was fantastic which always helps and the views... More

Hi Lindsey We are sorry that your experience at The Collingdale was not one of total satisfaction. As regards to your room choice we would like to point out that you had in fact booked two wooded view rooms on line via Expedia and not sea view rooms. As you would expect these were the rooms which you were allocated,... More

We arrived midday, earlier than expected, but Sharon welcomed us warmly and directed us to our room - spacious, light and perfect for our family of three. The guest house is close to the town and seafront which is a short walk away, with the sea providing a welcome backdrop. After a busy day we all slept well (two nights)... More

Clean, comfy room with excellent view of harbour. Separate w/c to room. Small shower within the room. Really quality breakfast. All-in-all, this was a very nice stay and I wouldn't hesitate to make a return visit.

Our room was at the top of the house and incorporated a number of flights of stairs, once in our room we were greeted with a lovely view of Ilfracombe harbour, a quite stunning view. The room was smallish but comfortable for us, with the bathroom very small with a shower, toilet and washbasin. We were told on checkout that... More

Stayed at the Collingdale for three nights as a couple looking for a relaxing break. We were welcomed by Sharon who works tirelessly to make sure you have everything you want during your stay, even recommending local restaurants. We had booked for Bed and Breakfast and the food was delicious. My only concern about the Collingdale is the amount of... More
