Although we were there for only one night Sharon was an excellent host. The hotel is well decorated, spotlessly clean and serves one of the best smoked haddock and poached egg breakfasts we have ever enjoyed on our travels. Although the room was on the small side the large public areas more than made up for this. Arrive early and...

This was a great 3 night night break for me and my boyfriend. Our room at the Collingdale had a lovely view over the quay and Verity. Daryl and Sharon are great hosts and a fountain of knowledge of the local area. Breakfast was definitely one of the best we've had at a guesthouse and we loved the honesty bar...

We weren't going to make it to Ilfrecombe until 11 pm. Having let Sharon know beforehand we were welcomed in at 10.45 pm and after checking...

Impressive Victorian terrace house looking out over the harbour. Collingdale has a well presented back/ front of house, with a really friendly welcome by Daryl & Sharon. After a lovely sunny week we arrived & left in the fog! But this didn't spoil our stay. Nice clean room, many little extras which made our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was first...
