This is a superb up-market B&B in Ilfracombe. A really lovely place to stay. Great big spacious rooms which were very clean. The owner has a great way with guests and makes you feel right at home. SUPERB breakfast no skimping here. A bit of a trek into town as Ilfracombe is very hilly and parking is a bit limited...

Although I stayed mid-week and out of season so the hotel was very quiet, the service was still fantastic and the staff very friendly and efficient. The room (I stayed in room 8) was very nice indeed, with good facilities, great views and a comfortable bed. I diverted 30 minutes drive each way to try this hotel and I am...

Wonderful old Victorian Gentleman's Summer residence restored by the current owners to a very high standard. Just an overnight stay for us, but love to go back again. Great welcome by the owner Anne Marie who was more than happy to arrange a taxi for us into town. Breakfast was individually cooked after a lovely selection of fresh fruit. A...

Lovely newly-renovated building on the outskirts of Ilfracombe. Wonderful warm welcome, beautiful room and lots of communal space (including a pool table!). It's a decent walk into the town centre but only £3.50 in a taxi. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it. However, there were a few details that could be improved,...

We wanted to have a couple of nights away in Ilfracombe so I scoured the internet for a special bed and breakfast. I came across Wildercombe House and it sounded perfect. We were very impressed with all aspects of this property. We stayed in room 14 which is quite a quirky room but beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bathroom...

Had a good stocked bar, with pool and games, so can easily keep yourself entertained if you wanted to stay in. Definitely recommend.

I was looking for a B & B to stay for a friends wedding and luckily stayed here. This B & B is simply perfect. My room was a double which had loads of little extras I wasn't expecting like shampoo, body wash etc in the en-suite. The coffee and tea in the room was topped off with biscuits. The...
