We wanted one last weekend away in the caravan and chose Mill Park as it is pretty much on our doorstep. What a wonderful find, this lovely friendly site is clean, tidy and well maintained. We relaxed fishing on the lake, (my first fishing attempt & caught 5) and had a few beers in The Bent Peg with fellow campers.... More

We stayed in one of the Glampods for three nights and right from the start the staff/owners where absolutely delightful! So helpful, kind and chatty and looked after us well. The showers near the bottom field had been closed down for the summer so it was a bit of a trek to the ones by reception but we had use... More

Small pitches and not very many hard standing pitches. Very shaded site so very little sunlight even when the sun was shining. Unfortunately it rained quite a lot during our stay and the grass pitches got very soggy and muddy. Decent shop and bar. Showers small and not enough room to keep things dry (or to get dry/dressed easily). Very... More

Thank you to everyone at Mill Park. We have had a fantastic weeks holiday. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The facilities were excellent with the toilets and showers cleaned regularly. So nice to wander into the on-site bar every evening for a drink and excellent company and Bella (the dog) enjoyed the fuss... More

Excellent, tidy, well kept site, with great facilities, showers / toilets spotless, owners very helpful and friendly similar to the campers, great location near beeches, attractions, pubs, walks, restaurants and a really good fishing lake, spent 5 fantastic days there only downside was I didn't book a week - would definitely go back.

We spent a lovely 5 days at this site at the end of August. We arrived on the Sunday before Bank Holiday Monday and we had booked a grass pitch with Hookup for our Tent. We were allocated a pitch which had its boundaries shown by markers. The site emptied from Monday onwards and we really enjoyed our stay. The... More

Thank you for your great review of Mill Park and your kind comments. The night skies are especially awesome on a clear night due to the lack of light pollution locally, and you can while away hours just staring at the masses of stars that you can see. We stayed at the very end of term time and found the site was still quite busy. Despite this there was little to no noise or disruption and the site was tranquil and calm. The owners are lovely people and made a real effort to accommodate. The toilet block was clean and fairly modern. A well stocked bar with good... More
