Enjoyable stay - comfortable room, contemporary decor, spotlessly clean, really good breakfast! The owners are unobtrusive but always there for any need you might have. Good communications - they rang to check beforehand that we were OK with the stairs. We felt very welcome - cannot fault.

Sunnyside is definitely the right place to stay if you want to have a good time in Southport. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff is always helpful. This was my second time with them and I'm definitely staying there again. Highly recommended!

Stayed for two nights and enjoyed it overall. Really good value for money. Host's were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast selection was good with fresh fruit and extensive hot choice. Would stay again.

What a great find this B&B was. Stayed 2 nights in a beautifully decorated room with crisp, clean white bed linen. Complimentary cupcakes on arrival, complimentary bottled water on leaving. Now to the breakfast - talk about full English, full being the operative word, all beautifully presented. If you are staying in Southport, this is the place to stay.

Me and my best friend stayed here (12/05/17) the night before he got married. After finding out the reason for our stay the proprietors sent up two bottles of prosecco on ice the following morning, which we thought was a fantastic gesture. The room was very modern and clean, and the enormous full English breakfast was delicious. The staff were...

An amazing place to stay. Welcoming and homely. On arrival me and my girlfriend was greeted at the door with homemade cupcakes and bottles of water. There was two rooms avaliable. We was shown both and told we could choose. The room itself had a warm feeling. Both the bed and shower in the room was out of this world....

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sunnyside Guest House for one night at the end of April and we were very impressed. The location was good, just a 10 minute walk from the train station near Lord Street and the place itself was clean, well presented and warm (there was an Arctic blast hitting the coast). The hosts were...

Needed a room last minute, was happily suprised at the welcome and accommodation of this establishment. Helpful, friendly and welcoming. Incredibly underpriced for the service and standard. Will be staying again!

We stop at southport every year and have been looking for that lovely place to stay. At last we have found it. It is so close into town you will not need your car at must for me. Hospitality is ace. A super warm welcome with Tea and a cup cake on arrival, that's me hooked. Parking for my car....

Stayed 1 night 1st Dec just for the 60s show at Southport Theatre. We stayed in room 7 which had recently been refurbished. A very nice room. The guest house is ideal for visiting the theatre and local restaurants. Very pleasant staff and excellent service. We returned from the show approx 11pm and we were greeted with some lovely cup...
