Very poor budget hotel .. Main faults included poorly serviced room.. Including dust on all surfaces Pubic hair in shower Stains on the carpet Some of the light bulbs had blown in the ceiling Breakfast not fully cooked .. I would have given it a minus if that would have been possible

Hi, After checking our records, we have not had a guest under your name or location for a long while. As we are newly renovated boutique hotel and we have had a lot of good reviews since our work has ended, we believe you must have mistakenly posted a review meant for a different hotel.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Very nicely refurbished rooms, comfy beds, good showers, good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small car park but plenty of parking close by. Will definitely stay again.

Came to stay again at our favourite Southport Hotel. The refurbishment was virtually complete and looking good. The room was well designed and was very comfortable. This time we chose to eat at the hotel one evening and the food was fantastic - the best Steak Diane I have ever tasted. As before the bar is well stocked and is...

On closer inspection the bed covering was plucked and had stains on the other side, behind the bedside table was a thick layer of dust and a Bottle lid ,the bathroom was nicely tiled but there was a lot of dirt in the shower. We had a couple...

We went to a concert in Southport so just wanted a cheap but clean room relatively close to the event centre. The hotel staff were welcoming and the bar area was very modern and clean. The rooms though were scruffy with very poor bedding which was grubby and old. They need to buy a brand new set of white bedding...

Last minute booking, as we had to travel to Southport to visit a sick relative in hospital. We needed accommodation with a restaurant, at a reasonable price and in a convenient location. The Duke's Folly ticked all the boxes and gave us a small, but clean adequate room, a very friendly and helpful welcome and excellent food. We enjoyed a...
