Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

The Sheraton Heathrow Hotel is lauded for its cleanliness and comfortable rooms, although noise and temperature control can be concerns, and early check-in fees have been noted. While the atmosphere is often characterized as warm, especially in communal areas, service quality varies, with some guests praising staff friendliness and others experiencing slower service. The hotel's amenities, including a good breakfast and shuttle service, are generally appreciated, but its value is debated, with some travelers finding certain aspects not worth the cost. The location is popular for its convenience to Heathrow Airport.

We usually stay at the Sheraton skyline when flying from Heathrow but this time we chose the Sheraton due to it's much more reasonable rates and the proximity to terminal 5.
We were very impressed. The hotel has been completely refurbished. Our room was modern and comfortable. We had club lounge access and Christina was a excellent host in the lounge.
We also had a bar meal in the Discoveries Bar which was very good too. We will certainly stay here again.

Good stay for recovering from a sleepless redeye flight from the US. Slept very well, very quiet (though I think the hotel was under-occupied so can't speak to soundproofness of walls). Good blackout curtains, couldn't tell it was light outside at all. Room was a bit small but typical of the UK. Easy 5 minute bus ride on the 350 from LHR T5. Ordered room service, margarita pizza and a side of veg. Was a very bad pizza and do not recommend. Breakfast buffet had a nice spread. The most important thing to me was getting sleep and that was really good.

The only suggestion I'd make is to be more environmentally friendly. For some reason they said the water wasn't drinkable (which it is everywhere else in the UK) and offered bottled water, but no opportunity to recycle it and housekeeping also does not recycle. Individually packaged small amenities, including what seems to be a single tissue wrapped in twice as much plastic as the single tissue. Please consider being more environmentally friendly!

Great location for Heathrow airport, on Bath Road (where all the other hotels are).
This is one of the nicest we've stopped at for access to the airport.
Having booked months in advance it was rather odd that our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 7pm and the only explanation we received was "we're very busy and we're full tonight".
When we eventually got into our room it was very spacious and comfortable. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and we didn't get any external noise from the airport.
The food in the restaurant (mainly steaks) was excellent and very good value for money for a hotel and near London.
Car parking (additional charge) was a bit chaotic. The car park is shared with a car hire company which didn't help.

With our favourite hotel at Heathrow, the Sofitel, still closed because of the pandemic, we looked for another quality hotel rather than a budget one.

Being a Bonvoy member, Sheraton seemed an obvious choice.

Our first disappointment was that we were being asked £15 for overnight parking. Whilst this is often the case at other hotels in the area, we were expecting some value for that £15, but the hotels car park had no operating barriers and being very close and visible from the A4 Bath Road and no obvious cctv, we felt that we weren’t going to get it. As we unloaded the car, several unsavoury types cruised through the car park eyeing up the cars parked there and they were obviously not fellow guests as they drove straight through and out again. We left our car feeling very uncomfortable

At reception we were greeted warmly, but disappointed to be told that the bar and restaurant, despite being advertised on the website as available, were closed. Instead we were offered a bottle of beer to take to our room. Hardly the luxury experience we thought we were paying for.

When we arrived at our room though, worse was to come. The bed was not made up; dirty tissues and plates & glasses were on the bed side table; two pizza boxes on the desk with remains of the pizzas. In the bathroom there were wet towels on the floor and the toilet and bath had not been cleaned. This is not acceptable at any time, at any budget, but in a pandemic this is an horrific failure to make guests feel safe.

I telephoned reception and received an apology but was asked to return to reception to wait for them to arrange a cleaner to sort out the room. I felt this was unacceptable as we had already had a long day and journey and we really didn’t feel like we wanted to stay in that room anymore

They said that they had no other rooms available, but when I suggested that we really should be offered an upgrade, they agreed and offered us a club room.

This turned out to be no different to the one we should have had, although it did offer us club room access. However it turned out the club room wasn’t open either so there really wasn’t an upgrade at all.

The hotel felt tired and dated and with virtually all facilities closed, it felt unwelcoming and certainly not luxurious despite the price.

I did later complain about the unfavourable parking facilities and they refunded the £15 charge, but overall we didn’t not enjoy our stay here and would not return.

Dear Courtline, Thank you for choosing to stay at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel and providing your honest feedback. Parking is chargeable at the hotel and its advertised on the hotel website page with the daily rate. Parking is chargeable at all hotels in Heathrow area. With regards to no operating barriers, our car park is operated by Parking Eye (UK Leading car part operator) and they use ANPR cameras to capture all cars coming and out of the car park, Also there are number of cctv in the hotel exterior which makes it one of the safest car park. The food and beverage offering were limited at the hotel during your stay and this was kept up to date on our website under COVID-19 updates and what to expect at our hotel. We have been making continuously effort with regards to our offerings to meet all guests while staying with us. Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is always a key priority, especially during these unprecedented times. On behalf of the entire team at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel, I sincerely apologize for falling short of not only meeting your expectations, but ours as well. Rest assured, the feedback provided has been shared with the Housekeeping & Front office Manager. The room allocated to you was a dirty room however because of human error it was marked clean in the system which unfortunately was allocated to you at the time of check-in. This should have happened in first place and I do apologies for this. Once again, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We also recognize these are unusual times and we thank you for choosing to stay with us. Sincerely, Kind regards. Ash Singh

All of the staff I encountered were polite and eager to serve, however, the hotel itself is older and somewhat poorly maintained. Ownership clearly doesn't invest the money necessary to make this a first-class airport hotel.

1) Water damage on walls and ceiling. How is this not fixed?

2) Some of the lights were non-functional.

3) No bellman or doorman. The young ladies were in no position to help.

4) No feather pillows in guest rooms.

5) Club lounge food is very basic and subpar. The wine is poured in the back room so you have no idea if you are getting fresh wine or wine that has been open for days.

I found a great deal here for a night's stay and 14 night's parking. The hotel is big and there was no trouble finding a space for my car. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't try the restaurant facilities but I had the most wonderful comfortable night's sleep. There are shuttle buses to Heathrow though I chose to sped £15 on a taxi and on my return, I was simply able to drive away as promised. I will use this hotel again for definite.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, gorgeous food.
We had a family room which was a double and twin with interconnecting door. The rooms were lovely, clean bright and large. Couldn’t fault a single thing.
We ate in the restaurant for our meal. Food was excellent and kids had free meal so very reasonably priced, especially given the location. Breakfast was included in hotel price and there was plenty of food and if anything need replenishing the staff immediately acted

Only a £12 cab from Terminal 5, the hotel was quiet and had a very welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the art on show. Friendly and efficient check-in staff had all pre-arrival requests sorted for arrival and even request for an additional room heater. Bar was lively and but food a little bland. I ordered a curry and I would not have known it was a curry. Breakfast had an interesting and enjoyable format with an easy continental breakfast if required. The staff were very helpful and nice people to deal with.
Check-out smooth and easy and no hassles with the car park.
I would definitely stay here again.

I spent a night here before an early flight from T5.
The Sheraton is located on Colnbrook bypass, at the Western end of Heathrow. Terminal 5 is just 5 minutes away by bus 350 from right opposite the hotel (there is a Hotel Hoppa in normal times but its a complete rip off compared to the free TfL buses) . T2/3 are also very close. There's a Shell garage opposite which is handy if you've forgotten something.
My room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and
there was plenty of tea/coffee, plus decent storage and desk space. That said, the room was a fairly compact, and the decor a little boring.
The lobby bar is really nice, and the food was excellent. Only gripe is that they only have bottled beer, not draught.
The staff were fantastic throughout, all very friendly and outgoing.
Overall, a pleasant enough hotel for a pre/post flight stay. Its not somewhere I'd pay a premium to stay at compared to other hotels in the area, and it's also worth considering the other Sheraton (Skyline) which is quite a bit better in my opinion, but I'd happily stay here again if the price was right.

Got a good price for this hotel, easy to find, parked on site for the Duration, quick and helpful check in staff and nice comfortable room with all you could need.
Didn’t eat in the hotel but within ten mins walk you can find McDonald’s, Indian and Chinese restaurants.
Didn’t use the Hopper Bus, a 5 minute walk down the road and you can get the U3 public bus which is Free.
