Hyatt Place London Heatharry Airport is favored by guests for its close proximity to the airport and public transport, although it's less convenient for city exploration. The hotel's atmosphere is often described as clean and modern, offering a peaceful respite from airplane noise due to effective soundproofing. While the amenities are well-received, especially the breakfast buffet, there's a consensus that there's room for improvement. Service is generally lauded for its efficiency and friendliness, and the rooms are praised for cleanliness and comfort, though some minor issues have been noted.

Stayed here after a meeting at Heathrow and another one the next day in central London. Left my car at purple parking at the cost of £7, they drove me to t5 where I got a train to Paddington
This vs a similar spec and hotel in cantal London works out cheaper especially as leaving London I return to my car and get straight onto the m4

The lobby is clean modern and open planned
The room felt fresh the bed soft mattress topper over a firm mattress felt very comfortable.
Bathroom small but does the job
The room has a fridge !!! But no shops local really
Tv channels is basic and seem to lose signal so ended up watching tv on a iPad and laptop

Food bar standard nothing super nothing bad.

Would I stay again ...
For the price vs the Marriot where I usually stay yes, yes i would stay again

It’s worth paying extra for a top floor Deluxe View King Bed room. These 5th floor rooms are huge and have panoramic windows looking south east over the northern runway towards terminals 2 & 3. The best views are at the eastern end, rooms 523, 525, 527 etc. The rooms at the western end have their views partially obstructed by the central stairwell. Room 525 bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spotless, with room-cleaning on request, and double layer windows means there is no noise from outside. The whole set up works very well: good reception staff, excellent buffet breakfasts and easy access from T5 on the number 423 bus. The only negative was the expensive in-house dining menu, made even worse by a £5 room service delivery charge per order, but that’s a common complaint across most upmarket hotels.

My wife and i stayed here prior to an early flight next day from T5. An Uber from T5 was less than a tenner door to door so well worth taking if you have a lot of luggage.
Hotel staff very pleasant from check in to leaving - very helpful indeed. The room we were allocated was on the third floor and had a view of one of the runways where we watched aircraft taking off for a while - no noise whatsoever despite the proximity to the runway. Room itself was sparkling clean and modern , internet good and all in all very good. Ate at the hotel bar area which was perfectly acceptable hotel bar food and went down well. A good nights sleep later and we were on our way early next morning.

When we booked this place I thought it was a very good value for money; when we checked in I felt it was just about right meaning the room is on the small side, double bed isn’t actually double, but it is neat and seems reasonably soundproof; but then we went for a meal (in the bar sownstairs for which you get charged separately), I felt the whole “deal” was maybe not worth the money. While the food is fair, the service is substandard in every respect: you wait for quite a while, then you get someone else’s food, then then you get your food but starter and main dish together, and so on. All in all, it is worth staying overnight to avoid morning rush on your way to Heathrow, but mind how much you pay for the room, avoid the bar (self cater or go dine elsewhere) and you’ll be OK.

Decided to book the Hyatt for our four night Heathrow spotting trip this year as our regular hotel is being used for isolation purposes (as are ALL the other hotels in the area so we were told). We managed to check in early and George on reception was so helpful in ensuring that my wife’s 80 year old uncle and myself had rooms next to each other which gave the best view of the airfield. I had booked top floor rooms but was allocated two rooms on the fourth floor, not the fifth. The rooms were a very good size and the bed was really comfortable. The cleaning staff would not be performing cleaning routines during our stay, but we saw them regularly and they kept us supplied with extra coffee and milk which was really nice of them. We ate at the hotel for three of the four nights and drank in the bar every night, and the prices were very reasonable and the food was gorgeous and it’s probably the best burger I’ve ever had. Massive thanks to Elsa and the other bar staff for looking after us. Breakfast was buffet style and you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. Being northern lads we would love to see black pudding and mushrooms be available as a selection. We’d also like to have more choices of draught lager if possible in the bar, rather than the three which were available (Estrella and Peroni would be nice!). Thanks to Big Jet TV we were given sole access to the Blue Sky Suite for two full days which offered the best views. BJTV members can access this for free if there are no conferences booked at the hotel. All in all, a very enjoyable stay, with very friendly staff and lovely food…Thank You!

Overall, the experience of staying at The Hyatt Place was entirely positive. Staff were all extremely amenable and assisted in a helpful manner. The hotel is easily accessible from all the terminals at Heathrow Airport. The hotel is fastidiosly clean, and sanitizing products are freely available at all major access points. Rooms can be defined as spacious by London standards, and again, rooms are presented in an acceptably clean fashion. Food served in the in-house restaurant is passable if unspectacular.

This was the first time we have used the 'Hyatt Place' at Heathrow and I wasn't overwhelmed! The check in was efficient and friendly and we were told we had reserved one of their best rooms, a Deluxe with views on the fifth floor. The keycard is required to operate the lifts up to the various floors so a plus for security. The room was a strange configuration and was smaller than I had anticipated. The bathroom was almost the same size as the sleeping area and a small office desk was tucked around a corner. There was no sofa to sit on and relax so it was lie on the bed if you wanted to watch the television. In fairness, the room was silent both from the airport and from other rooms. The safe worked well and the small fridge housed two bottles of complimentary water. The shower was powerful enough but I would have preferred a walk in shower than climbing over the bath. Toiletries were fine. Tea/coffee facilities are basic but you can request additional supplies from Reception. On arrival, the bath towels were missing from the room and had to be requested and the wifi wouldn't work on my computer so I had to get them to log on to the meeting wifi which worked fine eventually. The bar area is typical hotel lobby but with the lights dimmed in the evening served the purpose. It was busy however and the food looked tasty enough even though the chap who was sat next to us complained about his watery Thai Green Curry. Be mindful that service charge appears to be added to anything at whim. I went to the bar to order two glasses of wine and took them back to my table. For just pouring the wine into the glass behind the bar, I was charged a £2.50p service charge. I wouldn't have minded if It had been ordered from and brought to our table but I thought this a little sneaky and unnecessary as I basically did the work! If you want a top tip for dinner, go out of the front doors of the hotel and turn right. Walk for 5 minutes along Bath Road until you come to 'Kaniz', an excellent Indian restaurant. The food was first class and probably my best Indian restaurant experience ever. The whole meal with the best Poppadoms ever and generous main courses of chicken and king prawns was a bargain at £53 for the two of us. This included a bottle of very drinkable Pinot Grigio blush! We are staying at the Hyatt again in 10 days' time on our return trip so I am not particularly excited by the hotel, but Boris's quarantine relaxing may release more hotels in the area that aren't also being used for quarantine to the general public - let's wait and see!

Had to stay around Heathrow airport due to this being the only location where I could take an exam that I needed to sit for.

Was very impressed with everything to do with the service in this hotel, from the greeting and check in, to the morning breakfast, to the checkout process.

The breakfast has moved to an a-la-carte model seeing as buffets do not work under COVID19. The quality of the cooked breakfast was very good and the service was excellent.

Everything was clean, the only thing I would point out is that rooms are no longer cleaned automatically and you have to request housekeeping to make up the room.

Hotel was very quiet, but this was to be expected during the pandemic. All in all, I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay.

I look forward to visiting again next time I need to stay at Heathrow.

I've stayed at this property now many, many times. Despite this, you never get any sort of 'welcome back' or any sort of 'thank you' from the staff, which does seem a bit remiss as it's not the sort of property where regular guests would normally be expected. It's still as modern, clean, comfortable as ever and it's still quite a bargain for such high quality, albeit a huge distance from central London. Most guests are overnight for airport transfers, but those of us who have longer stays, but don't mind the commute into central London, will find it a great property.
The only huge complaint from this recent trip was that I booked and paid for the breakfast buffet and I was able to demonstrate to the staff on check in and check out that my confirmation included the breakfast and had been paid for. Yet they insisted it was not part of my booking and would not back down. Not sure what else you can do then show them the confirmation, but they were adamant. Again, hardly a good way to treat a very regular customer. On check out, again I showed the confirmation and again, they would not back down and charged me, albeit with a 20% discount thanks to my Hyatt/Expedia status. Not really good enough.
There's still quite a lot of room-room noise and the corridor noise spills into the rooms, but it's a minor complaint. I've known worse. There's no airport noise, which suggests they can do better insulation of they'd try.
A good, modern property, easily accessible.

Hotel very conveniently located close to Heathrow T5, Rooms and bathrooms are clean and of a comfortable size. Staff very friendly. Easy to get to and from T5 - take the free Bus 423 from the bus station at T5, it stops across the road from the hotel with pedestrian crossing close by. Note if you take Bus H4 it costs £6 one way.

To be fair, I can't see a situation where the car park could be full, it a huge underground car park, and also another one at ground level. If it ever does get full, they use the Holiday inn car park about 500m down the road
