Reading the reviews can be a bit misleading - yes it is situated close to a housing estate, but once you turn into their drive, you enter a different world of peace, quiet and utter tranquillity. Because the house & grounds are surrounded by high trees you could believe you are miles from anywhere. The house, rooms & gardens are...

The building is beautiful but I'm afraid that's were it ends really. It's in the middle of a housing estate and the only separation is the garden hedge. The hotel doesn't have a bar and the food is ok but nothing to write home about. The service at breakfast was appalling, maybe that was due to the young miserable waitress...

Dear No1Scribbler It is unfortunate that over time the neighbouring housing has increased in numbers, however Langshott Manor still has the feeling of an oasis tucked away and set in 3 acres of grounds. It is unfortuante that you didn't express your disappointment regarding breakfast service to one of our Duty Managers on the day and therefore allow us the...

Had a fabulous lunch here a couple of years ago. The house is stunning and has lovely grounds where you can sit out for afternoon tea in the sun. All very nice and civilised! If you want to treat yourself, I would highly recommend a visit!

For some reason, the word Manor led me to think it was a country estate. It isn't and it is located in the middle of a housing estate which was a disappointment to say the least. To be fair, I checked their website and they never mentioned a country estate and so maybe it was me. This is a beautiful...

Lovely quiet tucked away boutique hotel, had afternoon tea which was very good with decent food, helpful staff and great location, looked like a nice hotel to stay for a night or weekend away. Plenty of parking and lots of outside space for kids to run around or adults to enjoy drink/coffee in the sunshine, beautiful garden with picturesque pond.

Visited for a birthday lunch. We were a small party (14) in a private room.. We were well looked after and the food was excellent. Wish we had booked to stay as everything looked superb & all the staff were friendly & helpful, signposted off the main road but then very small narrow road - wonder if you are going...

Stayed here before our holiday. Can't fault the place or the staff. My only regret is that we didn't eat here, we tried the pub down the road. DONT DO THAT - it was dire! Room was gorgeous. Staff are fantastic. Really quiet. Cheap to get to airport in a taxi. Definitely staying here again. Loved every minute.

I did stay last year and have been meaning to review so here it is... I cannot fault this hotel one bit, we were upgraded and had the suite which was more like an entire cottage with its own little garden! the food was unreal, still probably the best food I've had and I've eaten in some top restaurants since!...

The hotel was fantastic from start to finish - the only thing I would say is be careful about arriving between 3 and 4pm when people are having afternoon tea as parking becomes very tight. We were upgraded to a luxury room which was definitely luxurious with a lovely view over a duck pond. Weather was gorgeous so we had...
