The lodge is only about 5mins drive to Gatwick airport. Rooms are clean. Shower head was leaking pretty badly, water out of head was just enough to shower with. When checking in and organising to leave our car their for a week, the receptionist wanted our keys and said we leave the car at our own risk- I was a...

Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good, self service for cereal and toast but you were served your cooked breakfast. Despite being fairly close to the airport we never heard any noise from the planes. The number 100 bus very close by and the Gainsboro is only a short walk from the town centre where there are...

We stayed here after returning from Amsterdam. It was around 22:30pm which a taxi from the hotel picked us up which was great. Staff were friendly however there was a sign stating no eating charge £50 in our room. I wasn't happy about this as where it was rather late and our flight had been delayed I couldn't wait to...

We stayed here after arriving back from our holiday. The room was clean and the beds were so comfy. There is a TV in the room and you have a little station to make a cup of tea. You get free transfer to the airport after a certain time of the day. The lady who greeted us was lovely and...

This hotel came up as one of the best priced for an overnight stay before flying from Gatwick, so we gave it a go. The host seemed to do everything - transfers, booking in and out and breakfast, so he had to be well organised, but he seemed to manage. Our room downstairs was basic but clean. There was some...

After flying up from Cornwall for an early flight the next morning I called the accommodation as per the emailed instructions, the minibus arrived and drive me to hotel, and transport was arranged for 4am the following morning! The room was clean, tidy and well equipped and a short walk down the road led to a number of places to...

Very good size of room and the shower room was in very good condition and the carpet was clean Very quiet room with a great view. The low flow water from the shower was not actually working properly. I would suggest to change it with a power shower. The cattle is very cheap quality with rusty marks inside of it...

Typical for the area this is a B&B primarily used by people flying in and out of Gatwick Airport which is barely a couple of miles up the road. It offers long stay parking so that you can leave your car there whilst away and collect it when you return from a holiday or business trip. Basic and cheaper than...

Don't expect anything when you book this place. Me and my partner stayed there for 3 nights and we would never again. The man who welcomed us was very straightforward, asked if we are staying for 3 nights and when we said "yes" he asked for our CC to take the payment. We could feel that he's only goal was...

Gainsborough Lodge is one of several properties, bed and breakfast, along Massetts Road in Horley. The town borders Gatwick Airport on the north, and the airport is easily accessible by train (three minutes), car (six minutes) or regional bus (ten minutes). Our booking at the property was by default; our two preferred properties were sold out for our dates. Gainsborough,...
