Stayed for a couple of nights recently, whilst visiting the area; could have taken my dog too, if required. Exterior seems a bit tired, and seems to be undergoing refurbishment programme, (no noise issues) but the room I had near reception at the front was spacious, modern, clean and bright with good en suite shower room. Staff were friendly, casual...

The location was excellent as you had railway station, shops and the castle small walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff friendly. The cooked breakfast was not to my liking but I am very fussy but there was still plenty of toast and cereal. Would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely quiet, warm, spacious and immaculately clean. The bathroom had a great wide shower, great water pressure and lovely sachets of conditioning shampoo. The room was very modern and had a flat screen TV offering a variety of channel including kids. The breakfast was waitress service. Great cooked breakfast.

We stayed for 5 nights. We arrived late on Friday night after reception closed but we were welcomed and checked in quickly. The room was comfortable but nothing special. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a good local tourist guide in the room. The free wifi was good and the room had plenty of power sockets...

Not good. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The room was adequate, it could have been cleaner. The bathroom cleaning spray bottle had been left in the sink and the toilet wasn't clean. There were only 2 bath towels and one hand towels. No mat for the floor after a shower. Nowhere to plug in a shaver or electric...

What a fantastic find! Stayed here this week for a last minute trip to see family. Really comfortable bed ... in fact best night sleep ever. Super clean. Breakfast was delicious. Best part was the staff. Made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back. I'd give it six stars if I could.

We stayed here for 1 night visiting friends in Stirling. We managed to have access to our room from midday which was helpful. We had a 4 person room - safe to say we didn't struggle for space!! Perfectly clean rooms and comfortable beds. Shower is a little dribbly but can;t complain for the price. Great location and good cooked...

What can I say, we had a clean room, comfortable bed and the staff not only greet you with a smile, they cook you up a whopping yummy breakfast. The location is superb (15-20min walk from the castle) and there is lots of free parking, would definitely come back!!

I stayed here on business and booked after searching based upon location, cost and reputation. I have to say I absolutely loved it and for me it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed at in the UK (and I have stayed at many hotels regularly over the last 25 years) The welcome was friendly and the...
