I treated my other half to a beach ride at Marros and needed accommodation. Marros recommended the woodlands hotel, and it didn't disappoint :-) lovely warm welcome, and we were able to park even though we were very early before check in. We had room 7 with a sea view. It is a light and airy room with plenty of... More

I have stayed at the Woodlands several times and the standard never drops. although I'm a solo traveler I feel that I am always made welcome and never feel I am on my own. This must be the best breakfast at any hotel in the UK, never need to eat again until early evening!!! Accommodation is first class and the... More

What a gem of a find this is. Really helpful staff and management, very well organised. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared by Nicole. My room was beautiful, overlooking the sea. Nice and quiet at night and comfortable for a great night's sleep. Plenty to do nearby; Oakwood and Folly Farm highly recommended. I will definitely come again. Thank you.... More

We booked this last minute, weather was not too clever but enjoyed the trip all the same. Did the coastal walk to Tenby where you cant start just across the road from the hotel. We also did the walk along the beach (tide permitting) to Wiseman's Bridge and beyond that to Almoth and had a drink at the Inn there.... More

My wife and I stumbled across this lovely hotel at the last minute having taken a chance of an overnight stay without booking. Mark was a great host and his wife Nicole was similarly welcoming. We had a small double room which was so comfortable and exceptionally clean. We enjoyed a great nights sleep and woke to enjoy a fantastic... More

Clean room and hotel, lovely breakfast and free parking. Hotel at top of hill into Saundersfoot with great view! If you are a walker go down road opposite hotel to pick up coastal path to Tenby. It is a bit hazardous in the wet!

Just had a 4 day break here. Nicole and Marc are caring hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. Nicole readily shared her local knowledge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a nice garden to relax in. Excellent breakfasts. The premises are conveniently located for the town. Overall, good value and unhesitatingly recommended.
