Our seventh Holiday at Rains Farm in six years. We are always made most welcome by Lorraine and were again greeted by flowers and chocolates in the cottage. Rians Farm is ideally situated to visit the North York Moors, and is easily accessed. The Cottages are well maintained, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Every thing you need is there, all you... This is a very clean well equipped 3 bedroomed cottage in beautiful surroundings. Off the beaten track but with easy access to the main roads to the coast and the moors. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Stayed at Rains Farm Granary Cottage from 6 August for 1 week. Have no hesitation in recommending this well equipped accommodation in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. Cottage spotlessly clean with wonderful views; hope to re-visit.

Excellent rooms, bathrooms and lounge with a landlady who knows how to make a great cup of Yorkshire tea as a welcome. Close to many good inns, railway, but far enough in the wilds for peace and quiet.

This property is set in a lovely quiet location in the countryside but within easy reach of all the tourist attractions in and around the North Yorkshire Moors and coastal regions. The property is comfortable and well maintained and the owners provide a good welcome.

Spent a weekend based at Rain's farm in the self catering flat. Lovely and peaceful and just the right amount of attention from owner. Great base for touring York and surrounds, Castle Howard and the Wolds. Need a car. Will happily return.

A wonderful place for a total chill out holiday. But close to many places worth a visit. Always maintained to the very highest standard. Lorraine/Andy and Jean are special people who always provide a warm welcome.
