Applestore cottage was all we could have wished for. The downstairs kitchen was comfortable, large and well-equipped with modern white goods, cutlery and crockery; the living room was spacious with more than enough seating; and the two upstairs bedrooms had comfortable beds, storage space aplenty and lots of room to move about. One of the two bathrooms was a revelation:...

During early June 2016 we had a superb stay in The Coach House enjoying the quiet and restful surroundings from this well equipped and finished cottage. This part of Yorkshire is so beautiful and offers much scope for a great rural holiday with moors, lush valleys, beautiful villages, historic sites and the sea so close. The owners were great hosts,...

We had another wonderful week in the Barn with a lovely reception from Noelle and. Tim. We love the space and the light in the Barn which is bright and welcoming even on a dull and wet day. We enjoyed many walks on the moors all fairly close to the Barn. We were pleased to enjoy a few pints in...

Perfectly located in the grounds of a big house in a pleasant village within walking distance of Pickering. The Barn is very smart & modern, to be honest a bit too modern for us. The kitchen work surface was very limited for self catering, no comfortable furniture for old damaged bodies, both sleeping areas were upstairs but both bathrooms were...

We had a wonderful week in the Barn with our three children aged 5, 3 and 1. Very spacious cottage, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable. We appreciated the very warm welcome from Noelle and Tim and the delicious cream tea which awaited our arrival. The location of the cottage is great, ideally situated for days out at Castle Howard, the North...

We spent a long weekend there as couples celebrating birthdays. The design and decor was right up our street (Scandinavian modern) and we really enjoyed our time there. Best bits - snug with log burner, mezzanine bedrooms n heated floors. Worst bits - because it's a modern design there's spot lights, floor lights, stand lamps n wall lights everywhere. Quite...

This is a lovely, well appointed cottage. Very well positioned for trips to York, Helmsley and the surround area and of course the coast. So much to do. Dalby forest is a real find too just 15 minutes away, fantastic for children. Noelle's website is filled with useful information on the local area, a real plus. Her and Tim are...

New Years break at the Coach house was super..... Arrived to a very warm welcome, warm cosy immaculate cottage, with an eye for detail, just what we needed. Cream tea waiting, and a wonderful welcome pack. Hosts on hand and very helpful. Top notch comfort even down to superior cotton bedding of the highest quality, we really could not ask...

Just returned from a wonderful few days at Applestore Cottage. We felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door - and that was even before we sampled the yummy homemade scones with jam and cream - a lovely welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer - but we will definitely be back. Great location too - easy access...

There's a lot of bang for your buck at Noelle's Cottages on the outskirts of Pickering, Scotland--actually 1 1/2 miles from the compact town. Noelle and Tim own and operate several cottages in the cluster--we had the joy of staying in the Barn, which was modern and probably will cost us a bundle of money because we now want to...
