A perfect day. Three mothers with respective children in a beautiful setting on a beautiful day overlooking Morecambe Bay. Friendly helpful staff who were obviously busy. Nothing too much trouble and our "little person" was more than happy. All in all I don't think I personally could of had a better day. Thank you to everyone concerned.

Stayed at The Midland to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our feature seaview room was amazing with stunning views over Morecambe Bay and the snow capped Lake District mountains in the distance. Saturday night's sunset display from our sun terrace table was magical. The staff were lovely and organised a few special treats for the birthday boy! We're completely smitten with...

This hotel is incredibly friendly and in a stunning location. The most important thing about the hotel is the staff. Without exception, they were friendly and helpful. The management clearly treat their staff well. I understand the staff are allowed to stay at the hotel on the night of their birthday subject to room availability, which is a lovely perk...

I have stopped here many tomes for business and pleasure and it is really one of the best coastal resort hotels in Northern England , if not the best. Luxury surroundings, right on the sea with exceptional food. A must if you are in the Lancashire area

We spent 2 nights here in a 'superior' room, celebrating my 75th birthday. And it was well worth the money! Floor to ceiling windows the length of the room. Very well appointed modern room(even a coffee machine!) and spotless. The public rooms are very interesting and restored by Urban Splash to a very high standard. The sun terrace is now...

This is an iconic hotel, which was restored a little over ten years ago in an excellent, much needed regeneration project in Morecambe. We stayed in one of their best rooms, but this, and the rest of the hotel, are clearly suffering from a real lack of investment in maintenance over a long period of time since the restoration. The...

We stayed for the weekend at The Midland Hotel for some friends' Golden Wedding celebration afternoon tea there. The afternoon tea was delicious and food was plentiful. A real treat in the terrace room! The hotel staff were all delightful, friendly and helpful- everyone was so pleasant. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and a bar meal in the Rotunda...

The staff are excellent, the position superb, our room was nearly fantastic. The view of the bay was stunning, the room furniture(310) was modern but a room at this level demands a king-sized bed not a standard double and the bed-side tables are ridiculously small. The restaurant was again well appointed, the staff delightful and helpful. The menu was good...

We booked into the hotel on the DB&B deal and I have to say the dinner and service from all the staff was magnificent. Things then got even better as in the Rotunda Bar was the regular Northern Soul disco and being a couple of a certain age the years fell away and we had just the best time. Woke...

This is one of the great English seaside hotels and it's worth taking a trip to Morecambe just to stay here. It was once a favourite with Hollywood stars. But then fell from grace. The story of how such an elegant building and once famous hotel, built in 1933, was rescued and restored in Art Deco style is uplifting in...
