Morecambe sadly seems to have quite a number of shabby looking places to dine. From the outside the Crown looked better than most and people were dining there so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the end of April. Hotel situated on the promenade, centrally located. The bar/dining area had been superbly up-graded since our last visit. The staff were excellent. Friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in...More
The bar & restaurant beautifully refurbished, bedrooms cleaned & fresh towels every day. Liam and his team were extremely accomodating & really went the extra mile to accommodate my restricted food requirements. Would definitely recommend.

There are car parks but you have to pay every two hours in the closest one and would have to move the car. Long stay car parks are available a little bit further away. I had filtered for free parking and this hotel had come up hence booking and was disappointed to find out it wasn't free. It looks like this I information may have changed now but it is all quite misleading. I think it was something like £2 for the two hours - I can't remember though.
