This is a lovely guest house with lovely owners who couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and informative. We had an extremely spacious third floor room with a comfortable seating area at the window which enabled us to enjoy the beautiful view. The room and spacious shower room have been very well thought out with a great attention to comfort...

Thank you so much for the positives (and the postcard - it means a lot!). It is good to know the things we do work for our guests. When we 'do-up' a room we think how we would like to find it, or where we would like to put our dearest friends and this helps us devise the best way...

We stayed in room 12 on Saturday night for the vintage weekend 2016. We were welcomed like old friends by Dave and Paula. Paula even offered us a glass of her wine on arrival! Which we accepted and it was lovely! The service was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to perfection - there was so much choice! The hospitality...

Oh the Vintage Weekend! It was super, wasn't it? I was having a glass of my favourite red looking out over the Bay that evening, when you guys arrived and you'd had such a long day, you just looked like you could do with a pick-me-up and a few crisps to nibble on. That was a first! Normally it is...

Cannot speak highly enough about The Wilmslow, we had the downstairs room, beautifully furnished with a ensuite that wouldn't look out of place in a five star hotel. There aren't many establishments that put a jug of milk in the mini fridge, plus bottles of water and a hospitality tray that would take a week to empty there is so...

Ooooo! I'm really Blushing. Thank you so much for your feedback. We just want our rooms to be lovely for our guests.. We always work to having the rooms set up so we would be happy to put our dearest friends up in them (or ourselves). I'll have a look into getting wheels fixed on the Wimslow - they have...

Hi Lesley! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and liked the newly refurbed ground floor room. We worked very hard to get that room up to spec so the positive feedback is reassuring that we are getting it right. We hope very much to see you in the future take care for now! Paula and Dave

We stayed here for two nights in a third floor sea view room. The amenities were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little bit small but had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The residents lounge on the ground floor gave us the extra space we like, to sit and relax. The breakfasts were...

I'm so sorry you found the room too small. Our listing on the site you booked on does have sizes of the rooms in the descriptions so people can make an informed choice, but perhaps this does not help in visualisation of the space you will get, though we have tried to show the space in the room via the...

Hi there! Glad you enjoyed the Premier room and the real milk! The brew basket came about from us thinking back to past experiences in hotels (not cheap ones!) where you get two tiny tubs of UHT milk each (if you are lucky) a couple of sugars and a sachet each of tea and coffee and one lotus biscuit each....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
WE are a no-smoking bed and breakfast, just for grown-ups situated on Morecambe's quieter east promenade. We do not cater for Stag, Hen and alike. Quiet rooms are to the rear, please note the prom road to the front means you will experience some traffic noise, though this has been mitigated to some extent by double glazing. We would advise you not to pick a sea view if you are sensitive to noise. We have six rooms all ensuite with Freeview, free WiFi, complimentary toiletries and generous hospitality tray. Sea-view rooms, breakfast room and Lounge overlook Morecambe Bay to the Lake District Mountains beyond. Breakfast can be served in our ground floor lounge by arrangement, should stairs present difficulties. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with advanced notice. There is limited car parking to the rear of the guest house, (please ask for more details) unrestricted parking to front, also public car park within 50m of guesthouse. Conveniently situated for all local amenities being just a short stroll along the promenade to the town centre. Secure storage for bikes and motorcycles. ... more   less
