Superbly located on the beautiful East Promenade of Morecambe, this hotel is in a great location overlooking the Bay and Lakeland Fells. The beautiful restaurant and cocktail bar is complemented by the stunning sea view across Morecambe Bay. The pleasant bar and lounges also have a great ambience in which to relax and enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality. The Strathmore benefits from a lift to all floors and there is plenty of parking available in either the hotel car park, which is located at the back of the hotel, or on the promenade. This hotel is close to many attractions and places of interest, but also offers the perfect base from which to explore the neighbouring Lake District and Lancaster.

Dear reviewer I am pleased to read you enjoyed the features of the bridal suite (double superior sea view) on the second floor. The views over the bay from the seating area in the bay window are often praised by guests. The hotel has an ideal location with bus stops outside with regular services running to Morecambe, Heysham, Lancaster, Carnforth and the Lake District. We look forward to welcoming you on your return Joanna Wilkinson, Assistant Manager

Dear reviewers I am disappointed to read your review of your 3rd visit. I am surprised to read that there is a staffing shortage, particularly in the dining room when it has been increased in the restaurant in comparison to previous years and service style. We are currently undergoing further works to the roof that has been damaged this year with the extreme hot and later storms affecting the area. Once all works are complete refurbishment will be able to take place. Where ever possible maintenance is being carried out. I hope you will consider returning to the hotel in the future Joanna Wilkinson, Assistant Manager
