The room was absolutely disgusting it was like they hadn’t even cleaned it there was food covered child’s finger prints all over the windows there was dirt on the wall the carpets wasn’t hoovered at all there was bad lime scale on Shower tiles and the toilet was disgusting there was what I can only describe as dog hairs on the bathroom floor and what looked like stained poo on the door and door handle leading to the bathroom there was dirt above the bed it was overall disgusting and my personal opinion is that the room had not been cleaned at all even the towels had dog hair in them. The receptionist try to tell me it was clean and the things I had complained about was general stains they could not get out which is rubbish the clean with sterilised water I think she said well that is not cleaning products I will be checking ratings better In the future if I decide to use travelodge again …
I stayed here whilst working in the area. It’s a good quiet location near the town. A clean, comfortable hotel. There’s plenty of parking on site. The hotel is within walking distance of supermarkets, along with several restaurants and the town centre. Would recommend.
Booked a one night stay here over the weekend, plenty of parking and in a great location for the marina area, staff were efficient at check in and very welcoming, room was clean and bed comfy, plenty of tea coffee and milk. All in all very good for a budget hotel. Couple of problems, shower tray was slow to drain and the stairwell carpet was very dirty, we used the stairs to avoid the lift due to current restrictions, assume many people are doing the same hence the extra stair traffic? Be nice to see thaat area was being looked after as we assume most peopkle will be touching the banisters, and as it is it does not look like the area is being cleaned? Bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water and check out efficient, so all in all, we had a great stay and will use the hotel again.
Same issue. Work away constantly, in and out out their hotels, just came up against a brick wall when arriving at this hotel, begrudge paying the £10 when room is available and hotel almost empty, have never been asked before, know its policy, but these are quieter times. Less staff, less resident. Am now sat in a car park waiting for the time I can check in, depressing, wish I want booked in here.
I have stayed at this hotel twice recently and have found the staff helpful and accommodating. I had a room with a bath on both occasions and found everything to be clean and well organised. Perfect place to stay while working on a boat.
