Called in one lunchtime for the hotels historic weekday carvery. I think the last time was maybe 30 yrs ago. At midday there were already a small number of people queuing for the carvery lunch. The hall was much as I remember it all those years ago though obviously updated. There were two meats on offer, beef and pork, though...

Went tonight with my husband and we had a 4 course meal....we both had steaks as our mains and have to say they were the best we have had in a long time.....the rest of the food was amazing and the staff really warm and friendly.....the hotel itself was beautifully decorated with open roaring fires just how it should be...

Went for lunch and found a real gem.Value for money and service with a real desire to please. Quaint with a touch of class and a very comfortable feel. The decor promises that there is a thoughtful desire to retain the character of the Manor House.

Came for the first time today with my girlfriend for her 21st! Staff are fantastic and the food is to die for! Will definitely be back, we even got a bar of chocolate from one of the ladies sat next to us! Really friendly and really nice!! Would give it 10 stars if I could

Visited for the first time this week and will definitely be going back. Great place for a mini break, so relaxing and the food .......simply divine. Staff friendly and helpful what more could you ask for.

It's nice here very old fashioned and lovely grounds. Was at a family wedding not long back and it was very pleasant, lovely on the outside and quaint on the inside. Popular place for party's etc. On a sunny day your laughing.

We came to the hotel for Afternoon tea (it was a Voucher deal),afternoon tea was very nice, the only thing that was disappointing was you had to wait till 2-30 pm,before you could have your tea,so if you arrive earlier you can't have the tea till 2-30 pm.The staff were Very nice and attentive, Lovely cosy atmosphere.
