Thankyou for a wonderful time to celebrate my partners 50th birthday, the newly refurbished hotel is warm, tasteful and welcoming, the staff were brilliant and helpful,we stayed in a sea view room with our much welcomed dog, very comfortable and modern, although maybe a quilt on the bed would be the finishing touch rather than blankets. The food was fabulous served by very friendly...

Great place to wind down. Food great, service excellent, some rooms a bit small and a bit tired. Place was due to be refurbished during winter close down. Value for money. Food had varied choice from traditional to oriental, plenty of it. Pool was great

It's not often you can't find fault with a hotel visit. Five of us stayed for two nights. Dinner B&B. Rooms comfortable, everything you needed, everything worked, staff friendly and couldn't do enough to help from chambermaids to reception. Food was excellent and something for everyone. We took our dogs - equally well catered for. It's a great location -...

Was treated to a 'surprise' weekend away for a milestone birthday. 4 of us on the Friday evening, great food, attentive staff without being 'in your face' On the Saturday, I was treated to a massage and manicure with Rebecca, fantastic, then the surprise continued as friends from different parts of the country were there to join us for a...

a couple of nights at The Treffidian for a birthday treat proved to be all I might have asked for. rooms are lovely, and facilities good. we seemed to spend most of our time eating and drinking -- no bad thing in itself: breakfasts are substantial and enjoyable; lunch very laid back; and the five-course dinners excellent. food service, in...

We had a lovely weekend in Aberdovey staying at this hotel as part of a family celebration. The hotel is clean, tidy and spacious. The food is delicious and there is a well stocked bar. There are lots of things to do at the hotel, such as pitch and put, and the beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk...

Given its large size, this hotel does a remarkable job in providing a friendly and personal service. We ran into some unexpected difficulties towards the end of our week long stay, and all the staff were excellent in their response, solving all the problems we threw at them with a smile and the utmost competence. They went way above and...

Stayed in the hotel with my partner, 12 year old daughter and labradoodle. We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so much so we didn't travel far at all. The luxurious, spacious room was extremely comfortable, staff very courteous, meals were delicious, catered for gluten free/dairy free diet. Waking up to sea views, accessibility to the...
