My friend and I stayed at the Treffedian Hotel in Aberdovey for a few days in April this year. The hotel is superbly set overlooking the sea and dunes on the outskirts of this delightful and select resort in Wales. We could not-fault it at all.The staff were attentive and friendly yet remained unobtrusive. The food was high class, beautifully...

Beautiful, well appointed room, the bathroom was well adapted for disabled use. The staff were friendly and polite, all knew their jobs and appeared to take great pride in doing it well. We didn't spend as much time as we would have liked using the hotel facilities, but were lucky enough to enjoy the live entertainment that the hotel regularly...

After a bit of research I booked treatments over the phone about a week before our arrival. We weren't staying here but found it easily and were pleased with our choice. The hotel has lovely views over Aberdovey golf course and sea. Staff were helpful on arrival. We relaxed with tea and coffee on sofas in one of the large...

Have stayed here several times. It is comfortable, warm, and bedrooms are tastefully furnished and always very clean, with a small separate lounge where we can sit with our two dogs. The male reception staff treat you with courtesy but no welcome or friendliness as though they are doing you a favour, whereas in contrast staff who have served us in...

Perfect location, lots to do, child friendly and the food is superb. The hotel is beautiful with sea views. It is somewhere that you cannot visit just once and will find yourself booking year upon year.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were warmly greeted at reception. We were asked if we had any special requests. I asked for extra pillows and a fan and was told to ask for anything that we required nothing was too much trouble. We had a double bedded room, spacious, with a large en suit. The lounges...

We have had lovely lunches here which have always been served quickly and efficiently by the friendly and courteous staff. The reception staff are equally friendly and hospitable. The sea views over the golf course are a treat if you have a window table. We cannot comment on the rooms as we have not actually stayed here.

We had a lovely sea view room on the 3rd floor for a 5 night break. I wasn't over keen on the bathroom which seemed a little spartan for the cost of the room and the bath was a bit difficult to access with one of those fixed shower screens. The lounge area in the bay window more than made...

We have stayed here many times, but treated ourselves to a 5 night break this time. Can't fault the hotel, all the staff are very friendly & helpful particularly the dining room staff. Also, we had left our headlights on one evening & a member of reception took the trouble to find us to tell us this, so good of...
